Description: Our sit on top style kayaks are comfortable and easy to maneuver. They have comfortable back supportive seats and enough room for your cooler, dog or extra rider ages 5 and under.
The tandem kayaks have room for two adults and two children ages 5 and under, or dogs! ( :
Our location is directly on Sengekontacket Pond. Feel free to park in the Little Bridge lot or along State Beach. We include a brief introductory session on the water, along with a verbal tour of what not to miss and any notable daily conditions.
What is Included: All tours come with PFD, (Personal Floatation Device) paddle and dry bag. Our team begins each session with a brief instruction and verbal tour of the pond, with points of interest and wildlife not to miss!

Please arrive ready to paddle! The delicate eco system of the barrier beach can not support any buildings or plumbing of any kind.

Greetings from Martha's Vineyard and Island Spirit Kayak!
We are so excited for you to be joining us on a kayak adventure! Sengekontacket Pond is a 745 acre body of water with canals, islands and two openings connecting it to the ocean. She is home to osprey nests, quahog beds, oyster farm and a few endangered species, many of which we will see on our paddle tour.
We look forward to seeing you on the water and please do not hesitate to call or email with any additional questions.

- There are no facilities on location for changing or restrooms, so please be sure you arrive, ready to paddle!
- Island Spirit Kayak is an environmentally responsible company and we do not sell or encourage any plastic single use containers.

Do Not Bring:
- We recommend leaving your cellphones, wallets, and keys behind. You can leave them in your car and check in your keys with us at our beach shack. If you want to bring your phone for pictures, bring a dry bag or rent one from us. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Cancellation Policy
All tours are offered full refund for any weather related changes and cancellations if you are unable to reschedule.
48 hour notice required on all cancellations or rescheduling.
72-hour notice is required for groups of eight and larger.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you are not able to make your reservation.
