Description: ##This tour is for anybody who wants to see how San Diego has evolved from its western roots into the Modern international vacation spot that it is today. Learn about the history fo California, the various cultures that call San Diego home!
What is Included: All GoCars Hold 2 People
Highlights: You will start in historic Little Italy that was home to the Italian community, and see how it evolved into the modern business and artistic community it is today. Make your past the ships in the bay that explored the new world, or patrolled the waters in time of war, into the Gaslamp Quarter which was once San Diego’s red-light district and see how it got re-imagined into the social scene it is today. As you leave modern San Diego you will begin your tip into history as you make your way through beautiful Mission Hills, you will pass many houses and businesses 50 years old and some much older. Your jump into history will take you past Historic Fort Stockton, into Presidio Park where the old Spanish Mission used to stand, into Old Town San Diego where you can see how San Diego looked in the old west with its Spanish and American residents forming a thriving community. This tour is for anyone who wants to see how San Diego has changed over the years, but still stayed true its Military roots.
Restrictions: - GoCars hold a maximum of 2 people. Prices are per GoCar, not per person.
- Must be 21 years or older to rent. Must possess a major credit card and valid driver’s license (international license is not necessary). GoCars do not accommodate car seats for children.
- On the day of rental, a security deposit will be held on your credit card until the GoCar is returned. All riders must sign a standard participant agreement. Renters will have the option to purchase Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) insurance on the day of rental.
- Renters are free to extend the length of their tour on the day of rental. Additional rental time will be charged in 15-minute increments.
- Cars must be returned to rental location before dusk.

-Departure times are approximated due to customers prior to your reservation possibly taking longer than they were booked for.

If you wish to keep your car longer than what you have booked for, you are welcome, but please check that it is available for you to keep and not needed by another renter.

Additional time is charged in 15 minute increments at our standard internet rates.

Please make sure you return the car before we close. Late returns are billed at $1 per minute. Please check with staff on day of rental the close time of the location. Early returns will not be refunded for unused time.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
Activity may be canceled at operators discretion due to weather conditions including heavy rain, high winds, or lightning. As safety is our top priority, weather cancellations are made on a case by case basis up to time of departure. In the rare situation the seller must cancel the tour prior to departure, ticket-holders will be allowed to reschedule tickets (subject to availability), receive a gift card, or receive a full refund (including trip protection).
If an activity is cut short early due to severe weather, rainchecks will be given to all guests. Full refunds are not available after the cruise leaves the dock, but rainchecks do not expire.
Refund and Rescheduling Policy
All sales are final, unless trip protection is purchased up front. No refunds, reissue to gift cards, or rescheduling will be permitted without trip protection.
Trip Protection Policy
Trip Protection must be added at the time of purchase. Trip Protection allows for rescheduling (subject to availability) or refund of tickets up to 2 hours prior to departure time, for any reason. Refunds will reimburse for the full amount of each ticket, less the Trip Protection fees.
Trip Protection is voided and no refunds will be issued if 1) guest(s) arrive and check into the tour, 2) guest(s) give notice of cancellation or rescheduling within 120 minute window, or 3) guest(s) are no-shows without notifying us 120 minutes prior to departure time.
