About
Experienced divers who have completed at least 15 dives, will particularly enjoy this new dive tour. (Divers whose last dive was more than 2 years ago, please contact us to schedule a refresher course).
We are venturing out to new remote locations around Hilo Bay, only accessible by boat. You'll enjoy sites such as Mauna Kea Crater, cascading waterfalls, scenic Hamakua Coast, abandoned plantation sugar mill built in the 1920's and occasionally spinner dolphins that catch a ride on our wake. The underwater topography is a particularly unique experience with pinnacles, shelfs, canyons, lava tubes, sea life indigenous to the Hawaiian Islands, and healthy coral reefs.
During the winter months, you may even catch a glimpse of breaching Humpback Whales and snow capped crater.

Be sure to bring:
- certification card
- reef-safe sunscreen
- a camera, if wanted
- a swim suit
- a towel
- if needed, take motion sickness medication prior to arriving for it to have enough time to take effect We strongly suggest motion sickness medicine if you are prone to sea sickness
We will provide snacks and beverages.
Disclaimer
- You MUST wait at least 12 hours before ascending above 2,000 ft, through driving or flying, after your dive. A two-tank dive increases your wait time to 18 hours.
- This tour requires you to be a certified diver, have the ability to swim, and that you are able to use a snorkel or regulator.
- Minors 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

- Fishing Charters: Full refund or gift card if canceled 30 days in advance.
- Swim Packages/Classes: Non-refundable at purchase.
- Cancellation Method: Must be made by phone or email—no voicemail cancellations accepted.
- Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Non-refundable if within the notice period or no-show.
- Operator-Initiated Cancellations (e.g., due to weather): Guest receives full refund or gift card.
- Refund Processing: Refunds may take longer than 24 hours to process and are issued in the order received. You may choose a transferable gift card, valid for one year from the date of cancellation.
