The Afternoon Half Day Excursion
The Afternoon Half Day Excursion is similar to the morning excursion but gives you a chance to sleep in a little later if you choose. On the afternoon trip, you will enjoy the same activities as the morning, kayaking, snorkeling, and sailing. Snacks and drinks will also be provided along the way. One of many great things that stands out with this trip though is the Key West sunset seen from the water on the way home. Truly one of the best ways to end your day.

You bring:
• Towels, bathing suits, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen (a sweatshirt in the winter months)
• Our check in location, The Danger Island Shop, has many items for sale for our guests. Waterproof phone bags, towels, shirts, t-shirts and much more.
Remember if you are planning on consuming alcohol on the trip and are under the age of 35 please bring a Valid ID with you.
We provide:
• Mask, fins, and snorkels. The snorkels are sanitized for your protection.
• Wetsuits in the cooler winter months
• We have plenty of kayaks.
• All instruction and safety gear (no experience necessary!)
• Cold drinks: regular/diet sodas, wine, beer, and bottled water.
• On the half day excursion we serve snacks such as fruit, chips and salsa and hummus.

Along the right side of the Opal Key Resort and Marina
From the Opal Key Parking Garage, Walk in front of the Lobby/ Valet Parking. Continue to the right side of the building, following the Red Brick path. Walk up the ramp past the Red Customs House & Museum, past the art Gallery outside. At the top of the ramp take an immediate left into our shop, the Danger Charters Island Shop. Check in will be in the back of the store. The Captain will meet everyone at the store to give a brief message, and then escort everyone to the boat as a group.
Cancellation Policy
Deposits If you reserved your spot onboard with a deposit, the remaining balance will be automatically charged to the credit card on file 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure for public trips and 7 days prior to your scheduled departure for private trips. If you would like to update your payment method, please call the reservations team at (305) 304-7999.
In the event of a declined payment or if we are unable to process the transaction, we will make every effort to contact you to arrange an alternative payment method. However, failure to provide a valid payment method may result in the cancellation of your reservation.
When opting for Trip Protection with your reservation, you gain enhanced flexibility beyond our standard cancellation policy.
- Trip Protection allows you to cancel or modify your booking up to 1 hour prior to your activity start time for any reason. Please note you will receive a full refund, minus the expenses for trip protection and any processing fees.
- Guests are allowed one re-booking using trip protection. If a reservation is re-booked using Trip Protection, it is not eligible for any additional re-bookings or cancellations.
- Highly Recommended
Standard Cancellation Policy: (applied to all reservations without trip protection added)
- Public Charter Reservations up to 4 guests are non-refundable within 24 hours of the activity start time.
- Public Charter Reservations of 5+ guests are non-refundable within 72 hours of the activity start time.
- Private Charter Reservations are non-refundable within 14 days of the activity start time
Rebooking Policy:
- If you need to rebook within 24 hours of the activity start time, Danger Charters will do our best to accommodate your request.
- A rebooking fee of $30 per person will be charged to the card on file for any changes made to the reservation within 24 hours of the activity start time.
- To request a rebooking, please contact our reservations team at (3050 304-7999 as soon as possible.
- Rebooking requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
- Only one rebooking is allowed per reservation.
Danger Charters is not liable for any issues related to arrival, including flights, traffic, and parking.
Any voucher codes provided by 3rd party vendors may have alternate cancellation policies. Please read all information provided by that 3rd party.
