About
The AllSafe Handgun Challenge is designed to test the basics of sight acquisition and trigger control in a series of fun, simple, straight-forward of courses of fire. Beginners will find it fun and exciting to shoot and move while addressing different target situations. Experienced shooters will enjoy testing and improving their draw stroke, while developing more speed and greater accuracy.
The AllSafe Handgun Challenge is a balance between speed and accuracy. Although the reloads favor the semi-auto, the course of fire can be successfully completed by either a revolver or autoloader. The evening is short, sweet, and terrific with excitement.
Instead of just shooting at paper, the targets include pie plates, IPSC silhouette targets, and balloons. With only the limitation of safety, each event is "free-style" where shooters have the opportunity to challenge the course employing their own strategy and tactics.
Newer shooters can start the scenarios from the low-ready position. More experienced shooters will start from a holster to level the playing field with the newer shooters. Although scores are kept, this is not a high-pressure competition. There are no prizes and winners win only the applause and admiration of all who participate.
Participants should bring a least three magazines or four speedloaders and two hundred rounds of ammunition.

Our meeting location is the FT3 Range, we look forward to seeing you!
Please bring your handgun and a minimum of three magazines and two hundred rounds of ammo. The range prohibits aluminum and steel case ammo.
Although new shooters can start from low-ready, advanced shooters can draw from a holster. I recommend a strong-side friction fit holster as the most practical for this class. You should also bring magazine carriers to facilitate reloads on the move.
Please bring your own eye and ear protection. This is mandatory for all shooters.
