About
Enjoy our brand new 6 passenger vessel for an unforgettable adventure with the humpback whales. We launch right in the middle of the humpback sanctuary, where we find mother humpback whales with their babies (called cow/calf pairs), competition pods (often where we witness the breaching), and singing whales (yes, we do have a hydrophone on board). Captain Kelsey and team are very knowledgeable about cetaceans and Big Island history, that for a solid 1 hr and 45 minutes you will have such a fabulous and informative time! This trip is great for photographers, as Captain Kelsey is very aware of lighting and driving the boat so one gets the best picture!
Boat has an emergency bathroom on board under the center console. Hydrophone. Relaxing music as we cruise. Cold drinks and a locally sourced snack is provided.
Sunset whale watches are usually 2 hours in length. It is captain's discretion to stay out until the sun sets pending on weather/safety. Surf and wind would make a captain come in prior to the sun setting. 95% of our Sunset trips do stay out for the actual sunset.

Aloha! We are looking forward to hosting you on a fabulous whale watch encounter! Here's what you need to know:
What to wear? Come dress like you are going to the beach, Slim suits & Flip flops are recommended. (we ask all to remove footwear before entering the boat to protect the floor), light clothing you don't mind getting the occasional ocean spray on, or wear a swimsuit and bring a towel if the opportunity arises to slip in the water to hear whale singing or if on a snorkel trip, jacket if on early or sunset trips.
What to bring? Pack light - storage space is limited on the boat. Please bring sunscreen, hat, water bottle, sunglasses and camera. Dry bags are available if you need to tuck cell phones or cameras away. Come dress like you are going to the beach, Slim suits & Flip flops are recommended.
We serve light snacks and drinks. Morning Whale Watches are 1 hr and 45 minutes. (we can run a little late because we are having too much fun, if that is a concern, please let our phone reservationist know). Sunset trips are 2 hours 15 minutes, and Whale Watch/Snorkel trips later in March are 3 hours.
There is a bathroom on the boat, however, we recommend you use the restroom facilities at the boat ramp before the trip begins.
Gratuity is not expected but very appreciated. We accept VENMO.

Fun whale items can be purchased on our website before or after the trip. We will have some of these items available for purchase at the boat as well.

Cancellation Policy
Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 48 hours notice of cancellation (72 hours if booking all seats or a private charter to give us time to rebook those seats). Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
To proceed with a cancellation or if you are needing to change your date within the allotted time, please refer to your confirmation email to update your booking. You can also contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
