Description: Step into the magic after dark—this one-of-a-kind night tour introduces you to the glowing waters of the Indian River Lagoon, home to one of the few seasonal bioluminescent hotspots in the world. With glowing phytoplankton and darting fish trails of light, the water comes alive in your hands. This tour blends cutting-edge science and ecological storytelling, thanks in part to my collaboration with Dr. Cusick, a renowned bioluminescence researcher. We stay up to date on the most recent discoveries—like genetic sequencing of Pyrodinium—so you’re getting more than Sparkle: you’re getting the why behind the wonder.
I love inspiring guests of all ages to ask questions, share ideas, and interact with the ecosystem—but most of all, we have FUN. Adults will walk away with new insights. Kids? They won’t even notice they’re learning.

Check in Details: Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled tour time for check in and plan to spend approximately 90 minutes on the water!
Disclaimers: Single kayaks have a weight limit of 300 pounds. Tandem kayaks have a weight limit of 420 pounds, perfect for parents to paddle with a child on this family friendly excursion!

Weather Cancellation Policy
We go where the wild things glow — but only when it’s safe.
Your safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Here’s how weather-related
cancellations work at Sunny Nights:
• Tours will run in light rain. A gentle drizzle can actually make the experience more
magical.
• If I determine that conditions are unsafe — due to lightning in the launch zone,
high winds, strong current, or other hazards — I may delay the tour up to 60 minutes
to allow conditions to improve.
• If I must cancel a tour due to weather, and you’re unable to reschedule, you’ll
receive a full refund. No hassle, no hard feelings.
Important: Refunds are only issued if I cancel the tour due to unsafe conditions.
If a guest chooses not to attend or decides to leave based on their personal weather
concerns before I make that call, it will be considered a no-show and not eligible for a
refund.

based on the best available science, safety standards, and experience.
