Fishing licenses are required for non-residents to ocean fish from a boat in Hawaii. Youth under age 15 and Active-duty military personnel and their families are exempt.
Licenses are valid from the date of issue so get your fishing license on the day/week/year you are fishing - not for purchase too far in advance as your trip date may change due to weather or other reasons and the use dates cannot be changed and are not refundable.
License fee $20 (1-day); $40 (7-day); $70 (annual).

We have received your reservation with Bite Me Sportfishing.
If you have booked a shared charter, please note that we require a minimum of 3 guests for a confirmed departure. If your scheduled trip does not meet that minimum, we will call you the day before to discuss your options.
If you have booked a private charter, you are confirmed.
We provide all fishing gear, coolers and ice. Please bring your own food and drinks, sunscreen, motion sickness remedy, towels, etc. (No bananas: they’re bad luck!)
DIRECTIONS TO THE BOAT
The Bite Me 3 departs from The Fuel Dock in Honokohau Marina which is located at 74-381 Kealakehe Parkway, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740 which is 5 miles south of the Kona airport or 3 miles north from Kona town.
At the traffic light intersection, turn onto Kealakehe Parkway from the highway (Hwy 19) towards the ocean. You will see the road lined with coconut trees and sailboat masts from the highway, and a sign that says HONOKOHAU MARINA.
Follow that road keeping to the left. You will see other boats on your right side as you pass. Shortly after a sharp bend in the road you will see a two story tan building with a red roof on the right. Park in this lot. On the ocean side of the building you will see the loading dock. This is where you will meet your boat.
BITE ME CHARTER DESK AND LOGO STORE
Come visit us before or after your charter to get your Bite Me logo gear and souvenir items. We are located at 74-425 Kealakehe Parkway next door to the Harbor House restaurant in the blue building complex with its own parking lot; our office is right by the flagpole.
We are open from 9am to 6pm daily. Please stop in or call with questions or concerns during these hours.

Cancellation Policy
WE HAVE A 48 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY. ALL CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE DURING THE HOURS OF 8:30AM AND 5:30PM DAILY.
CHANGE OF BOAT NOTICE
Although this booking is set for the Bite Me 3, we do reserve the right to move you to another comparable boat should it become necessary for any reason.
