For those experienced paddlers that just want to rent a boat and have the ability to safely transport it on their own to and from the river. Great option for a group that has their own boats and occasionally needs to rent additional boats for a visiting guest. This service includes rental of the boat, paddle, and life jacket for the day. This does NOT include any shuttles of any kind. This is for experienced paddlers that know the river, that know the launch and take out points and have the vehicles to safely transport the boats on their own.
Only recommended for experienced paddlers that know the river, how to paddle, and who have the ability and vehicles to safely transport the equipment.

What to bring
- Ability to securely transport rental equipment
- Email confirmation or receipt of rental
- River clothes (bathing suits, shorts, tee shirts)
- Appropriate clothing & footwear
- Sunscreen / Hat / Sunglasses
- Water Bottle
- Change of clothes left in your car for to use after your trip
- Bagged Lunch / Snacks, many guests bring a picnic lunch and eat on our back deck after their trip.
Cancellation Policy
Customers will receive a full refund with 3 days advance notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund in cases where Alleghany Outdoors cancels the trip due to high water levels or severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances as deemed appropriate by the Outfitter. No refunds provided with less than 3 days advance notice provided. No-shows will be charged the full price.
