This 2.5 hour Brooklyn Bridge walking tour crosses the famous span from Manhattan to Brooklyn. Ex-pect to discover the fascinating history. You will learn about the stubborn people who designed it, along with the unbelievable bad luck which plagued them. The dramatic story contains achievements, accidents, and even a parade of elephants!
Along the way you will enjoy magnificent views of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Be prepared to take lots of photos! You will get the very best vantage points.
The tour leads you across into Brooklyn, where it will end. Brooklyn's once-quiet waterfront has been re-newed into one of NYC's most modern hip neighborhoods. DUMBO stands for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass and is situated between the towering Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges. Its cobblestone streets are lined with interesting shops. These establishments are located in repurposed former factories, which have been converted for residential use too.

Subway Directions
4, 5 or 6 subway line to Brooklyn Bridge - City Hall.
R or W subway line to City Hall.
A, C, 2 or 3 subway line to Fulton Street.
Approximately 20 minutes from Midtown Manhattan.
Arrival: Please arrive 10 minutes before tour starting time.
Tour ending: the tour does NOT return to the meeting place. The tour will end in DUMBO, Brooklyn. The tour guide will provide directions to return.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOLDERS OF ALL TOURIST PASSES:
Please be sure that you did not select 'Adult' tickets when reserving, because then your credit card will be charged ('Adult' is the regular-price ticket). You should have just selected the type of tourist pass that you have. Please check that this confirmation email does not show any credit card charge. If it shows a credit card charge, please inform us so we can cancel the charge. You can simply reply to this email to inform us that you had selected 'Adult', and therefore our system automatically charged your card. We will cancel the charge.
Please note: it is your own responsibility to check this.
Attire/what to wear:
We will be spending 2.5 hours outside! Please prepare accordingly. If it is cold, dress more warmly than seems necessary. Hats, gloves, scarves, etc. The guide/group cannot be hurried if somebody did not dress appropriately.
Tips: tipping your tour guide is customary in NYC; but it is not required. Tips are commonly $3-10 for the group.

NO-SHOW's
No-shows will be charged the full price. Tours depart promptly. Any late arrival will be considered no-show. Unfortunately we cannot provide any grace period - out of consideration to the other customers.
WEATHER
Tours run rain or shine. If there is a forecast of rain, you can cancel your reservation up until midnight before the tour.
Tourist pass holders will not be charged if they arrive at the tour on time. However late arrivals or no-show's will be charged the full price.
