ARRIVAL POLICY:

Check-in is the time stated on your reservation on the day of the Tour at Rincon Diving & Snorkeling, Rd 115, Km 12.0, Rincon Puerto Rico.

Anticipate slower traffic and longer driving times. If you need directions, please call us and let us know where you are coming from and we are happy to help you, Please let us know as soon as possible if you are delayed in anyway.

After Check-in, equipment fitting and briefing, participants will carpool or caravan to the entry. Depending on the size of your group, the guide may or may not be able to accommodate transportation from Dive Center to entry. All activities start and end on the beach--NO BOAT IS REQUIRED for a great experience.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Because our groups are always small to exclusive, it is important to let us know of any changes in your reservation.

Why do we have this policy?
This policy reimburses Guides/Instructors for blocking off their schedule for you. When you book, they do not accept other work during that time. If we had no cancellation fee, they would lose the income during that period.

All cancellations should be done 48 hours prior to the day of Tour to be exempted from the cancellation charges of 50% of the total tour cost.

There are no penalties or fees for canceling your Tour outside of the 48 hour window.

CANCELLATION FOR LAST MINUTE BOOKING: Bookings made less than 24 hours of the tour date are considered FINAL and will incur cancellation charges of 50% of the total tour cost.

All NO-SHOWS will be charged the full tour price for the group.
Cancellations made after 5:00 p.m the day prior to the tour will be be considered a NO-Show and incur the full tour price. This includes "reduction in group size" cancellations.

Cancellations need to be made directly by calling the dive center at 787-506-3483 .

Cancellations made via email or by voicemail may not be honored.

WEATHER RELATED CANCELLATIONS: We reserve the right to cancel or reroute tours up until the last minute due to weather, safety, or other uncontrollable circumstances. In this case we will try to reschedule, agree on another more accessible destination, or if necessary give a full refund.

GUARANTEE POLICY:

All bookings must be guaranteed at the time of reservation by credit card or advance payment. All major cards are accepted.

WHAT TO BRING:

ALL GUESTS: APPLY BIODEGRADABLE SUNSCREEN BEFORE arrival. Biodegradable sunblock is environmentally friendly sunscreen that lacks the harmful ingredients that are destroying the world's coral reefs. Biodegradable means they break down naturally in the environment, and eco-friendly minimizing damage to the environment. Common chemical sunscreen ingredients, such as oxybenzone, can bleach coral and damage coral reefs. Look for a brand that uses physical sunblocks such as titanium dioxide and zinc oxide instead of chemical ones.

DRINK plenty of WATER BEFORE arrival.

Wear a SWIMSUIT and bring a TOWEL with you. Water temperature average is low-80's so additional thermal protection is not generally required.

CAMERAS: We rent digital/video cameras for $18 for your Tour to capture those 'once-in-a-lifetime" memories.

IF YOU ARE ON A SNORKEL SAFARI TOUR: It is suggested that you wear a t-shirt or sun SHIRT to avoid sunburn during your tour. Bring additional sunscreen to be used if needed. All equipment necessary for tour will be provided. If you have your own snorkeling equipment, feel free to bring it for best personal fit.

IF YOU ARE ON A TRY-SCUBA ADVENTURE TOUR: It is suggested that you wear a t-shirt or sun SHIRT to avoid sunburn and abrasion from the equipment . Bring additional sunscreen to be used if needed. All equipment necessary for tour will be provided. If you have your own snorkeling/dive equipment, feel free to bring it for best personal fit.

IF YOU WILL BE FLYING WITHIN 24 HOURS after your tour , please let us know.

IF YOU ARE ON A GUIDED SHORE DIVE FOR CERTIFIED DIVERS: It is suggested that you wear a t-shirt or sun SHIRT to avoid sunburn and abrasion from the equipment . Bring additional sunscreen to be used if needed.

The Dive Guide, tanks and weights for tour will be provided. If you have your own snorkeling/dive equipment, feel free to bring it for best personal fit. Additional equipment is available for rental at additional cost if needed. Check our website www.RinconDiving.com for current rental pricing.

IF YOU WILL BE FLYING WITHIN 24 HOURS after your tour , please let us know.

Certified divers must bring your CERTIFICATION CARD to show to the reservations agent at check-in.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

ALL GUESTS will be required to sign an INFORMATION WAIVER and HEALTH FORM. Any guests under the age of 18, will require a parent or guardian to also sign on their behalf.

We reserve the right to cancel a reservation if we feel, in our sole opinion, that providing the tour could endanger the health and safety of the participants.

IF you are on a Guided Shore Diving tour or Try Scuba Adventure tour and YOU WILL BE FLYING WITHIN 24 HOURS after your tour , please let us know.

**From SJU Airport to Rincon (approx 2.5 Hours Drive time) ** - Stay right on exit from airport, follow signs to Highway 26 (San Juan). --- DO NOT GO OVER MOSCOSO BRIDGE.
• Take Autopista (toll road) #22 (Bayamon).
• You will follow #22 until Arecibo and pay several tolls
• Once in Arecibo #22 turns into #2 – stay left.
• Follow #2 to Aguadilla (about 30 min.).
• In Aguadilla you will pass a baseball stadium on the left.
• Stay on #2 until you reach #417 (there is an overhead crosswalk - so you can’t miss it!).
• Don’t take #115 off of #2 or you will probably get lost.

• Make a right on #417 (at walk-over Bridge & Martins BBQ) and go 1.6 miles to the traffic light (cemetery is on your right).
• At the cemetery several roads merge.
• Take Avenida Nativo Alers (the veterans memorial statute is in the middle of the fork - take the left road).
• You are now on the bypass around Aguada.
• Go 1.5 miles, follow the road right, and then turn left when the road ends at #115.
• Take #115 (stay left – if you hit the beach turn around) approximately 4 miles to Rincon.
• Continue on Rt. 115 and you will enter downtown Rincon (Avenida Munoz Rivera).
• Rincon Diving is on the ocean side of Road #115 at Kilometer Marker 12.0 next to DOS GALEGOS ARGENTINEAN STEAK HOUSE. If you see Sherwin Williams Paints, you've gone too far.

If you are staying in one of the local hotels, we are within walking distance of most. (Villa Cofresi, Villa Antonio, Rincon of the Seas, Rincon Inn) Getting lost in Rincon is almost impossible - and exploring is lots of fun!

From Aguadilla (BQN) Airport to Rincon (approx 30 minutes Drive time)
• Make a left out of airport parking and another left at the stop sign onto #107.
• By the fifth light you need to be in the right lane and enter #2 South.
• Stay on #2 and approximately 15-20 minutes make a right on #417 (look for walk-over bridge at Martins BBQ)
• Go 1.6 miles to the traffic light (cemetery is on your right).
• At the cemetery several roads merge.
• Take Avenida Nativo Alers (the veterans memorial statute is in the middle of the fork - take the left road).

From Mayaguez (MAZ) Airport to Rincon (approximately 45 minutes Drive Time)
• Make a right out of airport parking.
• Right at the end of road which is #2.
• At the 2nd light (#115) make a left.
• Follow #115 (pass a PUMA station, pass a Church's Chicken/Burger King and PUMA/Subway gas station.
• Rincon Diving will be on your left just past the Burger King (on your right) & PUMA gas station/Subway on your left. If you see Banco Popular, you have gone too far.
