Enjoy a 3.5 hour boat excursion as we venture to Capers Island, one of the few remaining undeveloped barrier islands. We will cruise through winding tidal creeks to find diverse wildlife living in this salt marsh environment. Common sightings include bottlenose dolphin, osprey, pelicans, bald eagles, herons, egrets, and more. Along the way we'll employ various nets and habitat traps for an up-close look at some of the rarely seen marine creatures that thrive below the surface. As you arrive on Capers, you will have about an hour and a half to explore its pristine ""Bone-yard Beach"" and interior freshwater ponds. Capers provides excellent opportunities for shelling and bird watching.
What to Bring
- You are welcome to bring your own refreshments and small cooler for the trip. Beer and wine is welcome for passengers ages 21 and over.
- Wear comfortable and weather-appropriate clothing and shoes or sandals.
- Bathing suits are optional since you are welcome to get in the water during this excursion.
- Please feel free to bring a bag with sunscreen, towels, cameras, binoculars, bug spray, or anything else that will make your trip more enjoyable.

What to know before you go:
Please arrive 15 minutes before departure time.
Meet Your Guide- Your guide will meet you at the Barrier Island Tiki Hut located to the right of the Marina Market store in the parking lot.
WEATHER POLICY - Please show up unless you hear from us. Isolated, pop-up thunderstorms are common in the summer months and may delay the trip by a few minutes or may miss us completely. We will contact you if the trip is canceled, otherwise please plan on checking in at the scheduled time.

- The Marina Market sells a variety of drinks, snacks and has an excellent deli for fresh breakfast and lunch items. It also has a gift shop with local clothing and gifts.
Parking at the Isle of Palms Marina
Please park wherever there is a daily parking sign. Please text the number on the sign to pay. Cost is $5/hr or $20/day per vehicle.
Cancellation Policy
Deposits are non-refundable. Customers will receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
