Your Chena Hot Springs / Aurora Borealis night begins right at your Fairbanks accommodation, so you don’t need to plan how to get to us and you will save additional taxi costs.
Only 60 miles from Fairbanks, this world renowned resort offers a day of rest and relaxation in the historical location discovered by natives and early miners.
Enjoy the mineral hot springs in a beautiful natural setting and experience the dancing of the northern lights.
Along the way we almost always spot moose. Food and beverages are available at the local restaurant. Please bring swimsuit, slippers and towel.

What to bring
Please dress up warm (snow pants/jacket/hat/gloves/winter boots). Don’t forget to bring cash to tip your guide!
Tipping your Guide (10-20%)
Tips for your Guides are not included in the price of your tour. Just like any other service in the USA it is common courtesy for guests to tip 10%-20% of your tour value. Please remember to bring cash on your tour. Cash is the preferred method of tip payment to the guide, driver, or any staff that has provided you with great service. You are free to deal with the staff member directly or you may have the tip added to your bill. If you do want to add a tip to your final invoice please send us an email to info@akrivertours.com.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations by guests - fees are as follows:
More than 30 days in advance - full refund.
29 to 8 days in advance - 50% of the deposited amount.
7 days or less in advance - no refund.
Cancellations by Alaska Fishing and Raft Adventures:
Due to circumstances unexpected in nature we may need to cancel a tour for reasons such as injury, sickness, inclement weather, equipment failure, etc. In such cases we will issue a full refund of the cancelled tour, should you (guest) be unable to reschedule.
