About
The Classic Middle Adventure is the most popular whitewater trip in the Southeast! It’s a five-mile action-packed adventure that features Class III and IV rapids with the beautiful scenery of the Cherokee National Forest. From March through October, Adventures Unlimited offers the Classic Middle trip and provides all of the required equipment such as a life vest, helmet, and paddle plus the services of certified whitewater guides. This adventure is perfect for the first-timer or the seasoned pro, since we can fine-tune the experience to your individual needs and provide a unique trip.
What To Bring
T-shirts, shorts, and shoes are required for each trip. Keep in mind that shoes must be secure so NO flip flops. We recommend bathing suits, nylon, or any other outdoor clothing that dries quickly. Dress for the weather as our trips run rain or shine. Wetsuits are available for rental. Each guest should bring a complete change of clothes and a dry pair of shoes for after the trip. Our changing rooms are fully equipped and even include hot showers.
When To Arrive
Adventures Unlimited operates on Eastern time and we require that all guests arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the reservation. Please note that ALL GUESTS MUST SIGN THEIR ONLINE WAIVER prior to arrival at Adventures Unlimited.

• Rafting check-in is 30 minutes prior to your trip.
• PLEASE complete your online waivers. It makes check-in SO EASY!
• Adventures Unlimited operates on EASTERN TIME. If you are traveling from a different time zone, please make that adjustment to your travel plans.
• You can secure all of your belongings and your dry clothes in your vehicle and we are happy to keep your car keys safe in our office while you play on the river.
• Playing in the great outdoors is a Rain or Shine activity, so please dress appropriately.

Cancellation Policy
Rafting Reservation Insurance Policy:
If you choose to include the optional Rafting Reservation Insurance Policy, a non-refundable 10% Reservation Insurance Fee will be charged. A full refund or rescheduling, less the Reservation Insurance Fee, will be made for any reservation cancelled or rescheduled with more than 24 hours notice. Cancellation may be made for any reason, including weather! After the initial rescheduling, the reservation is no longer eligible for a cash refund. There are no refunds for cancellation on the date of service .Pre-purchased HoliDeals are not eligible for a cash refund but they may be rescheduled under this policy. Please note: This insurance is not available for lodging or catering reservations.
Regular Cancellation Policy (Rafting, Lodging and Food Service):
Adventures Unlimited will offer a full refund on your deposit if you cancel your rafting reservation with more than 14 days notice prior to the service.
If you cancel your rafting reservation with less than 14 days but more than 7 days notice, you will receive a full refund on your rafting reservation less a $20 per person cancellation fee.
If you cancel your lodging or food service reservation with less than 14 days but more than 7 days notice, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. There are no refunds for any cancellations with less than 7 days notice. Rescheduling and reducing group size will be considered a cancellation.
There are no refunds for cancellation on the date of service .
Third-Party Reservations:
Rafting reservations purchased via a third party have the option to purchase the Rafting Reservation Insurance Policy. The insurance will allow them to reschedule up to 24 hours prior to date of service. Any refunds must be processed through the third-party vendor.
If third party bookings DO NOT opt in to the Rafting Reservation Insurance Policy, reservations require 14 days notice prior to service for rescheduling. If you cancel your third-party rafting reservation with less than 14 days notice, you will not be allowed to reschedule your trip.
Please note, the state mandated minimum age for rafting the Ocoee River is 12 years old.
