What is the best time of day to see wild ponies and wildlife?
Anytime of day is great, wild horses graze and move around anytime of day. Shorebirds, eagles and dolphins are also seen at all times of the day. Mid April through mid October is awesome.

What to bring
Come prepared to get a little wet from the drip of your paddle and be out in the sun. Dress for the weather. Lightweight, synthetic clothing is best. You can bring a camera, but they do have the possibility of getting wet, so we recommend using a water proof bag. Guided kayak tours include kayaks and gear, so just bring your personal items such As:

• Bathing suit or clothes (e.g. t-shirt & shorts) that can get wet and are appropriate for kayaking
• Shoes that cover feet, stay on feet & can get wet (NO flip-flops)
• Hat, sunglasses and sun block
• Bottled water
• Raincoat (just in case & serves as a good windbreaker)
• Change of Clothes
• Camera (recommend keeping in a water proof bag)
