Perhaps no part of New York City is as well known as the legendary Times Square. Once home to the first newspapers of NYC, this small 10-block district is now home to the annual televised New Year's Eve celebration and the most popular Broadway hits. On this run, you'll also get treated to a trip through Grand Central Station and Rockefeller Center, before returning to the "Great White Way" to learn more about the theaters and secrets of why Times Square has become the "Crossroads of the World"!

What to Know
Although this is not a race, we do ask for your running pace, so we can be prepared for different running abilities. More than one guide will be provided depending on group size as well as varied paces. Please do not worry - we will not leave you behind!
Your running guide will be wearing a City Running Tours t-shirt (weather permitting). Your running guide will provide water for each participant and will be running with a small backpack to hold any items that fit.
City Running Tours offers tours rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, we will contact you for cancellations and rescheduling. If you do not hear from us, this means that we are still running.
Once you book your running tour, you will receive a confirmation email the day before your scheduled tour.
Day of registrations are welcome, however you must notify the City Running Tours manager beforehand, so we are prepared.
Gratuities are always appreciated, but never expected.

See below for important information in regards to our tours:
1) This is a 4 mile (approximately 6.4 km) tour designed with exciting stops along the route to interest all runners and is casually and conversationally paced to accommodate all running levels. If your everyday pace is very fast or slow let us know so we can provide enough guides to handle the group. The tour will approximately be 1.5 hours in duration.
2) We do all of our communication with you through email. If email is not the best form of communication while you will be in town please provide a local NYC number (cell, hotel phone, WhatsApp) so we can reach you if necessary.
3) We will follow up via email within 3 days of your scheduled running tour to confirm the final details including meeting location, guide information and what you need to know for your upcoming running tour. In the meantime, here is our Frequently Asked Questions page from our website.

Cancellation Policy
Refunds are issued 48 hours prior to your scheduled run. We will issue a refund within 48 hours only in the event of an emergency or due to inclement weather. In case of bad weather, we will try to reschedule your run for another day if possible with your schedule. If we are unable to do so, then we will refund you.
All cancellations within 48 hours of your scheduled tour will receive a rain check for a future tour, which can be scheduled on the same trip or a future visit. It can also be transferred to a tour in another one of our cities.
Rescheduling
If you missed your original scheduled tour (due to any reason other than an emergency) and call us prior to your tour to reschedule, we will issue a rain check for a running tour on another date.
