• YOU MUST CHECK IN 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE TIME OR YOU WILL *** FORFEIT*** YOUR CHARTER FEE.

• You must provide a phone number where we can contact you by phone or text in the case of cancellations or schedule changes. This applies for international travelers as well.

• All boat tours depart from the Tierra Verde Marina Resort, located in Tierra Verde, just 3 minutes from St Pete Beach.

• Please note that LYFT and UBER transportation is in SHORT SUPPLY. If you plan on using taxi transportation, you MUST call early and reserve. It is your responsibility to arrive in time for check-in, and we cannot refund you if you are unable to find transportation to arrive on time.

Upon entering the parking lot, drive toward the yellow Marina building (with the blue shutters) to your right , and then drive around the building to the marina side lot. You will see "Island Ferry" signs guiding your way to the Check-In area.

• Check in with one of the Island Ferry staff (wearing the white shirts). Please do not go to the marina store to check in.

Check in Information

• We carry a MAXIMUM of 6 souls, irrespective of age and weight. No more than 6 passengers will be permitted on the boat.

• Please ensure that ALL CHILDREN, irrespective of age and weight, are fully ticketed as they are considered by the US Coast Guard as a FULL FARE passenger.

• PLEASE be sure to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your departure time to check in. All trips leave PROMPTLY at their departure time.

• Please note: Large groups of 7 or more (on multiple boats) will be charged an 18% gratuity.

Island Ferry cares about your health, and the health of its staff.

We're glad you chose us for your boating excursion. We never put more than 6 people on our boats, and so we are a safe choice compared to a larger boat crowded with people.
Please know that we are taking extra precautions to provide clean and healthy boats for our passengers and crew.

• We are disinfecting our boats immediately before every single trip, just before boarding. We use a hospital grade disinfectant proven to kill all viruses including Norovirus, Flu, H1N1, Hepatitis, etc.
• We continue, as always, to disinfect and sanitize our snorkel gear after every use.
• Fresh air and sunshine has been proven to kill bacteria and viruses, and our open air vessels provide plenty of both.
• None of our captains or crew have traveled abroad in the last three months.
• Our cancellation policy will be as flexible as possible.

What to Expect

• Remember to wear your swimsuit, and bring towels!
• We have FREE parking at the Marina.
• Our boats have a cooler with ice on board, and BYOB is welcome.
• Complimentary bottled water provided.
