It's time to experience an evening in Downtown Sarasota while enjoying its rich history and amazing food!
Our NEWEST tour transports you through a time-line that reveals the untold history of our Suncoast from its primitive beginnings to the present day building boom. Your guide will share details and stories about the pioneers and wealthy trailblazers that spearheaded the discovery of Sarasota while you stroll its historic streets.
This is a perfect tour for you foodies and trivia buffs that are local or visiting Sarasota for the first time.
You will visit four restaurants each unique in its own way as you sample some scrumptious culinary delights. At the end of this three hour tour you will be filled with great food AND fun historical tidbits about Sarasota's downtown.
Attire: casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes. (It's a leisurly walk of about a mile)
Includes: All food and restaurant gratuities are included in the ticket price. If you enjoyed your tour, tips are accepted and greatly appreciated by our tour guides.
Weather: We tour rain or shine.
Start Time: 4 p.m.
Where to meet: The Fat Chef Statue in front of Mattison's Grill & Restaurant at the corner of Main & Lemon Streets.
Parking: Free 1hr parking is available in the City Parking Garage above Whole Foods Parking Garage. The entrance to this upper-level parking is on 2nd street between Whole Foods & Central Ave.
State St. & Palm Ave Parking Garages: please be aware that the City of Sarasota is now charging for parking after 1 hr. The 2nd hour is $2, and it is $1 per hour after that at those locations.
Please note that all tours require a minimum of 4 people. This does not mean one party must book 4 individuals, but that our total headcount achieves the minimum. We will notify you if we have not reached this capacity and will always strive to accommodate our valued guests!

Where to meet: Meet your guide at the Fat Chef Statue in front of Mattison's Grill & Restaurant at the corner of Main & Lemon Streets.
Parking: We suggest that you park in the 2nd Street City Parking Garage above the Whole Foods parking. The entrance to the free parking for 4 hrs. on levels 2-4 is on 2nd St.
Parking is also available in the State Street parking garage on State Street. Please be aware that the City of Sarasota charges for parking there after 2 hrs. The third hour is $3, and it is $1 per hour after that. As the city is growing substantially, parking 'can' be an issue so please allow enough time to find alternative parking in the event the garage is full and still meet your guide at the designated time/location.

Cancellation Policy
Tickets are nonrefundable once purchased unless you have also purchased “Safety Net Protection” at time of booking. This allows you to cancel your tour with at least 24 hours' notice, and we will reimburse you for your full tour ticket price (minus ticketing fee and safety net fee).
All purchased tickets with "safety nets" can be used at a later date, subject to availability, if our office is notified 48 hours prior to tour start time.
Tickets are transferable and can be used by anyone, as long as notification is given prior to tour start time and a waiver is signed. Tours go out rain or shine (unless impacted by severe weather conditions).
In the event of a tour cancellation by Key Culinary/Sarasota Suncoast Tours our guests will always have the option of rescheduling to another tour or receiving a full refund upon contacting our office.
If the cancellation is due to the minimum number of guests for a scheduled tour not being met, guests will also be offered the option of converting their booking to a private tour with an add-on fee.
No-shows will be charged the full price.
Gift certificates are nonrefundable and valid for 1 year once purchased.
