Arrival Time and Helpful Information
Thank you for booking your Egmont Key ferry ride! The boat will depart promptly, and traffic or parking can be challenging—especially during spring, summer, and holidays. We recommend arriving at least 60 minutes prior to your departure time to allow ample time for parking, finding the ticket booth, and checking in.
IMPORTANT: This trip DOES NOT DEPART from the Bay Pier. It departs from the Fort De Soto County Park Boat Ramp.
- Do NOT enter Fort De Soto Park. If you reach the guard gate, you’ve gone too far.

Parking Information
- The county charges $6 for parking, which must be paid at a pay station inside the Boat Ramp parking lot.
- Be sure to pay at the station before checking in at the booth to avoid parking tickets or additional fees from the county.
- The $6 parking fee goes to the county and is not included in your ferry reservation.
Important: If you are not checked in by 15 minutes prior to departure, your reservation may be forfeited and offered to waiting guests. Please arrive on time to ensure your spot.
