About
- This course is a great one for those who are either not sure of full commitment or do not have enough time. You will learn how to make sure if a firearm is loaded, or unloaded.
- On this course you will learn the Following: Position, Grip, Sight Alignment, Breath Control, Trigger Squeeze, Follow Through.
- First Steps Rifle is 3.5 hours in length, however class time varies upon the size of the group, and how fast you learn the skills, average 1.5 hours, then off to the range for an hour of live fire. Range Fees and ammunition are paid by the students.
- You have a choice of either AR-15 Rifle or Ruger Mini -14 Rifle. Both are equipped with either long range scope, or E-O Tech sights. Caliber is either 223, or the more expensive 5.56 NATO rounds.
- Please note this is not a full certification course. If you want a more in – depth course than enroll for the full Basic Rifle course which is 5-7 hours.

- Range Fees and ammunition are paid by the students. Range fees are from $20- $40 depending on what type of firearm you are being trained on.
- If you reserve a class that starts after 1pm your livefire will be on a separate day.
- Valid photo ID REQUIRED FOR ALL STUDENTS.
- Minors welcome from 12 years of age and up with parent or guardian.
- Foreign Students welcome with passport.
- Please note this is not a full certification course.
- You are required to purchase hearing and eye protection from us at the time of your class.
Cancellation Policy
Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 7 days notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
