About
I craft one four-hour adventure each morning just for the small group and unique goings on in the City that day. The itinerary is open - we will always stop at San Francisco’s classic landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge and Twin Peaks and typically roll through neighborhoods like North Beach, Pacific Heights, Haight-Ashbury, Castro, and the Embarcadero.
We will also leave big buses behind and may explore street-art alleys in the Mission, mosaic stairways in the Sunset, the laid-back vibe of the Presidio, our Beaux-Arts City Hall, famous “Painted Ladies” at Alamo Square, or go down the real crookedest street in San Francisco (not Lombard). It all depends on what's best just that day.
It's a long morning, so mid way through we will stop at a local market where the group can get a quick lunch and do some local people watching.
We will finish in the Fisherman's Wharf area in the early afternoon. If your afternoon plans take you elsewhere, we can find a mutually convenient end point.

What to Know Before you Go
- Pickup is available from most SF hotels.
- If you are staying outside San Francisco, contact us to arrange a mutually convenient pickup point in the City.
- Blankets and warm jackets are available for your comfort in the open vehicle.
- The weather in San Francisco can be highly variable. Dress in layers and bring your sense of adventure!
- We will make a brief stop where your group can get lunch during the tour. The price of food is not included.

For Your Morning City Tour
Thanks for booking with me! I’m stoked to be part of your party’s adventure in San Francisco.
Expect pickup at your hotel in San Francisco up to half an hour before the activity start time shown above. We will make a stop where the group can get some lunch while on tour.
Please call (415) 323-6180 48 hours before your tour date so we can welcome you to town and advise an exact pickup time.
If you haven't chosen a pickup point yet, please let me know whenever you book accommodation. I can offer pickup from anywhere in the downtown area (Union Square, Fisherman's Wharf, SOMA etc.) or can arrange a mutually convenient point if you end up staying outside San Francisco itself.
My tour van is open on the sides (no windows) for great views and has a canopy to keep the sun off. The weather in San Francisco can be highly variable so dress in layers and bring your sense of adventure! Blankets and warm jackets are available for your comfort.
We don't walk more than a few blocks, but I do like to get out of the van to check out some places on foot. Wear comfortable shoes. It's a bit of a high step to get in to the van, but I have a folding step to make things easier.

Cancellation Policy
Full payment is required at the time of booking for all tours.
For the San Francisco City Urban Adventure, a full refund is available up to 24 hours in advance. After that point, no refunds are allowed. I understand that flights get delayed, traffic happens and plans change. I can reschedule your tour at any time without penalties or fees - subject to availability.
For the City Urban Adventure plus Alcatraz, the Alcatraz ferry company requires me to finalize my ticket list ten days in advance. A full refund for this tour is available up to 10 days in advance. After that point no refunds are allowed. I understand that flights get delayed, traffic happens and plans change. I can reschedule the city tour portion of the experience at any time without penalties or fees - subject to availability. Rescheduling Alcatraz may require purchasing new tickets at their face value ($41 for adults, $25 for kids under 12).
For the Morning in Marin, a full refund is available 72 hours in advance. After that point, no refunds are allowed. I can reschedule the land portion of the experience up to 72 hours in advance without penalties or fees - subject to availability. I can not reschedule trips within 72 hours. Flights may be canceled or flight routes altered at Seaplane Adventures sole discretion due to weather or federal airspace mandates/restrictions. If the seaplane portion of the trip is canceled due to weather, that amount ($219pp for adults) will be fully refunded.
For the SF City Tour and Bay Boat Tour Combo, a full refund is available up to 24 hours in advance. After that point, no refunds are allowed. I understand that flights get delayed, traffic happens and plans change. I can reschedule your tour at any time without penalties or fees - subject to availability.
For private tour bookings, I put time and effort into planning your unique private tour experience from the day that you book, so 20% of the reservation amount is not refundable. The remaining 80% is refundable up to 24 hours before departure. After that point, no refunds are allowed.
