Our experienced instructors, will guide you on a tour of the world-famous snorkel trail, just south of Phil Foster Park’s beach (recently voted the worlds #1 shore diving spot!). The reef area is approximately 200 feet from shore and remains protected from boat traffic. The site’s inland location is protected by barrier islands, creating a calm, nursery like environment. Popular for even advanced SCUBA divers but perfect for beginners, the trail is a true gem that is teeming with colorful sea life.

We are a small business, so we assure you that our customers will receive our utmost attention and respect. We specialize in small group environments where safety and satisfaction are prioritized.
Additionally, as most of our guides are freediving professionals, we have a different perspective on snorkeling (believe it or not, snorkeling is a form of Freediving!) We believe deeply in the health benefits (both physical and mental) associated with snorkeling/freediving and incorporate elements of Freediving (such as breathing and equalization) into our snorkel tours for any guests who are interested in taking their skills to the next level!

Important Information

Plan to arrive a few minutes early as parking can reach capacity near peak times. Upon arrival, a brief introduction and overview will be held, guests will be fitted for snorkel gear and oriented with the layouts of the reef. Your snorkel guide will join you and point out tropical fish, coral formations, turtles, stingrays, seahorses and maybe even a fascinating octopus.

Must be at least 12 years old with adequate swimming skills and must be able to swim at least 200 feet comfortably. We can accommodate younger snorkelers when you book the option "Private Snorkeler."

If you have no experience snorkeling and cannot swim 200 feet comfortably, please book a private snorkel tour so we can give you one on one instruction.

Health and safety policy
All guests joining us on this snorkel tour must know how to swim. Anyone struggling with heart conditions or pregnant may not join us on this tour for safety of the guest.

In order to save time and be respectful of other guests, please fill out the waiver before the start of the tour
WHEN TO ARRIVE
Please check in & meet your guide/instructor at Phil Foster Park 10 mins. BEFORE your start time near the east side of the playground (closest to the shower)
Most of the time there are multiple parties participating, and we are on a set schedule.
Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to find parking, use the bathroom and arrive to meeting location
Parking
Parking is FREE at Phil Foster Park and a short walk to the meeting point. Please note that if you booked this tour on a WEEKEND OR in the AFTERNOON during peak season (spring & summer months) we HIGHLY suggest you use rideshare to Phil Foster Park as there is usually NO PARKING during this time.
If you are unable to find parking, you can park down the street on Lake Drive (Northside has street parking) and walk (about 8-10 minute walk), park near the Ocean Mall, or we recommend taking a rideshare.
To Ensure the Best Experience Possible, Please Plan Ahead
Parking at our snorkel location can be extremely limited—especially on weekends and during peak season like spring and summer. To help you avoid delays and enjoy a stress-free start to your experience, please review the following recommendations:
Weekends: Please use a rideshare service as parking is extremely limited and often unavailable.
Late Morning & Afternoon Bookings (Spring/Summer Season): Ride-sharing is strongly encouraged—parking is very difficult to find during these times.
If Driving (Spring/Summer Season): Please plan to arrive at least 1 hour before your scheduled start time to allow time for parking and walking to the meeting point.
Thank you for your understanding—we want your adventure to start off smoothly!
WHAT TO BRING
- Snorkel gear (if you own)
- Skin protection (rashguard, U/V blocking t-shirt, or wetsuit)
- Towel
- Dry clothes
- Water (preferably not single use plastic)
- Sunscreen (preferably reef safe)
NOTE:
We recommend wearing/renting a wetsuit during winter-early spring months (December-April)
If you need to rent a wetsuit, please contact us at least 2 hours before the start of the tour to ensure our guides will have enough time to bring the correct sizing. Cost is $20 per wetsuit
WHAT NOT TO BRING
- Glasses cannot be worn with a snorkeling mask. If you normally wear glasses or contacts, it is recommended to wear contacts under the mask or bring your own prescription mask.
NOTE: Personal items will be left on the beach while we are in the water snorkeling. Please come prepared with only the items you want to bring in the water or leave on the beach. We normally leave shoes, clothing and a beach bag with towels and keys on the beach. Recommended to keep valuables in the car.

We will meet adjcent to the Blue Heron Bridge, near the playground (southwest of Phil Foster Park entrance). Your instructor/s will be wearing Live Free Diving long sleeve black UPF hooded shirts.

It is important that you arrive on time! Once we've headed into the water, we cannot leave a group unattended in order to help late arrivals. If you think you may be late, please call us at (561) 556-8444 and we will do what we can to accommodate you. If you do not call or are more than 15 minutes late, you will be unable to join the tour and you will be considered a no show. We appreciate your understanding. This is for the respect of the other guests in the group who arrived on time.

Cancellation Policy
Refund & Cancellation Policy
- Customers will receive a full refund if notice is made with at least 48 hours notice
- Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances
- Trips are not cancelled due to rain
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours of a scheduled booking will be charged a 50% cancellation fee
- No shows will be charged the full price of the booked trip/course. No refunds will be given due to the potential loss of business/expenses incurred.
Weather policy- Water activities will not go out in dangerous conditions (i.e.: Thunder, lightning, high winds, etc.) LFD will wait until close to the time of the activity to make the call since weather moves so quickly in South Florida. If there is rain, the activity will go out. Activities may be delayed while waiting for weather to pass. LFD’s goal is always to deliver outstanding service and have happy guests and we strive to accommodate guests whatever the situation may be.
We are a small team who specialize in small intimate group settings, in order to keep our business sustainable and activities enjoyable we must adhere to a stern cancellation policy. Thank you for understanding.
