Travel back in time to explore the Gullah and Geechee heritage of South Carolina's Sea Islands in our comfortable, climate-controlled vehicle. On this tour we'll visit several areas of Beaufort County and discover it's lone history and unique culture. On this 3-hour tour, get ready to soak up some history and take in the Sights: Discover Lady's Island, St. Helena, Hunting Island and more See the site of one of the country's first schools for freed slaves – a local treasure and National Historic Landmark Marvel at the ruins of island churches and learn the stories and songs that are part of their rich history See a historic plantation house from the comfort of our air-conditioned vehicle. Beaufort and the surrounding areas are deeply rooted in the Gullah/Geechee culture, and we're eager to share it with you on this one-of-a-kind tour!

You are confirmed for the 10:00 AM Gullah Heritage tour. There is a 4 person minimum for this tour to go out. If we do not meet this requirement, we will contact you 24-48 hours beforehand and see if you would like to reschedule. If you do not hear from us, then the required number of guests has been met.
Paid Parking is at the Marina parking lot at 1006 Bay St. Beaufort, SC 29902 for $1 an hour. Remember that this is a 3+ hour tour, so make sure your meter time is for at least 4 hours. There is also a public restroom (white building) in that parking lot, so you can go before boarding the bus. You are allowed to bring snacks/drinks onboard the bus.
Check-in is at 928 1/2 Bay St Beaufort, SC 29902 on the corner beside the Sea Island Carriage shop. Boarding begins in front of the Marina Office and Shop, along the Yellow Curb, at 9:50 AM.

Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
