Where to meet
This walking tour meets in front of the Denver Chophouse & Brewery, on the east side of the building. Please do not go into the Chophouse. The address to the Denver Chophouse is 1735 19th Street, Denver Co. 80202. You will find your guide in front of the McGregor Square sign, adjacent to the Chophouse. Note: because most of this tour takes place in the downtown area, restrooms may not be easy to find. Please make the necessary provisions, before arriving on the tour. There are restrooms in Union Station, and at the Tivoli Quad, at the ending location.

Be prepared
Please bring comfortable shoes, it is a 1.5 mile walking tour. Denver's weather can range in temperatures. We run this tour, rain, snow, or shine. Please bring the proper clothes (hats, gloves, scarfs, and shoes). We do this every year, and it is a blast, as long as you dress appropriate to the weather conditions. Note: Due to the nature of the tour business, this tour is non-refundable, no exceptions.

Please arrive 5 minutes before the start time, so we can get everyone checked in. Please arrive on time. We do not hold the tour for latecomers, and no refund will be given, if you miss the tour.

Parking
Since this tour meets two blocks from Union Station, we highly recommend using light rail to arrive; otherwise, you may want to use a Lyft or Uber to arrive and depart the tour. If you are driving, do yourself a favor, and reserve a parking spot in advance, by using the SpotHero app. This tour is not a round trip tour, it is designed to allow you visit the German Christmas Market (Christkindlmarket). Treat yourself to some great holiday shopping. Get a giant pretzel or some strudel, have some hot chocolate or apple cider, or stop at their beer tent, for some lively music and entertainment. If you choose not to go into the German market, our guides will walk with you back to Union Station.

Safety and Liability Disclaimer:
This is an approximate 1.7 mile, 2 hour walking tour. Along the tour route there are areas with low lighting conditions, and some of the sidewalks are raised and or uneven, which could lead to a tripping hazard. You will be crossing city streets, and you will need to be aware of the presence of oncoming cars, scooters, bicycles etc. We ask that you only cross when you have a protected pedestrian traffic signal, and never cross in the middle of the street. Parents with children, you are 100% responsible for the safety of your minor children. Please hold your young child's hand, when crossing the street, or at any time that you feel that it is necessary. Weather conditions can change suddenly. in case of inclement weather conditions, please take any necessary safety precautions. If you feel uncomfortable for any reason, please depart the tour and seek shelter. We do not give refunds for expected or unexpected weather changes that may arise. Because of the urban location of the tour, restrooms can be difficult to find. Please take the necessary provisions, before arriving on the tour.

As consideration for being allowed to participate in one of our tours, all participants are deemed to have released from liability and waived any right to sue Best Tours of Denver LLC/Twilight Ghost Tour LLC, or their contracted guides, from any and all claims, including claims of negligence, resulting in any physical injury, illness (including death) or economic loss suffered as a result of participating in one of our tours.

By participating in one of our walking tours, the participant understands that there are inherent risks, such as physical injuries, due to, but not limited to tripping, falling, as well as other outcomes that may arise from a participant’s or other’s actions, inactions, or negligence, or the condition of the location(s); Nonetheless, participants assume all known and unknown risks of participation in doing a walking tour.

Tipping Policy: Many people ask if our guides accept tips. Although tips are never expected, if you feel as though your guide did an outstanding job, please feel free to give him or her a tip. They are always appreciated.
