Arrive at your ship to a complimentary glass of spiced wine and take your seat as we cast off from the dock to enjoy a beautiful Key West Sunset.
Complimentary boutique wine, select beers and water/sparkling water are available throughout the sail to accompany the offerings from your gourmet cheese platter. An optional beverage upgrade is available to include premium sparkling wine.
Take a turn at the helm, help raise sail or simply relax and enjoy the ride as a cloud of ivory canvas blossoms above the sprung teak deck, the wind fills the sails and the boat leans into her element.
When And If is the gorgeous 1939 transoceanic cruising yacht designed by famed American naval architect John G. Alden and built for General George Patton to sail around the world "When the war is over, and If I live through it."
Malabar X is her stunning senior sister, 1930 racing yacht designed by the same John Alden to win the Newport Bermuda race, which she duly did, winning her class in 1930 and smashing records to take first overall in 1932.
Between the two boats we have capacity for 64 guests as each boat is Coastguard certified for 32. Choose your preferred vessel or split your party up by booking both yachts and enjoy a tandem sail or even a bit of match racing!

Cancellation Policy
DAY SAILS AND SUNSET SAILS
When we get a reservation for a charter a lot goes into preparing the vessels for your trip. We realize there are times when you may have to cancel a charter. That’s okay providing we have advance notice of at least 48 hours. No-shows, especially at the time of launch, or last minute cancellations make it difficult for us to keep our prices competitive. For cancellations 48 hours or more in advance there is a full refund minus a 10% processing fee. There is no compensation available for trips cancelled within 48 hours, although we will do our best to rebook you or offer a gift card to the value of your trip. Trips rescheduled at Guests’ request are not eligible for compensation.
PRIVATE CHARTERS
When we get a reservation for a charter a lot goes into preparing the vessels for your trip. We realize there are times when you may have to cancel a charter. That’s okay providing we have advance notice of at least 7 days. No-shows, especially at the time of launch, or last minute cancellations make it difficult for us to keep our prices competitive. For cancellations 7 days or more in advance there is a full refund minus a 10% processing fee. There is no compensation available for trips cancelled within 7 days, although we will do our best to rebook you or offer a gift card to the value of your trip. Trips rescheduled at Guests’ request are not eligible for compensation.
If we are required to cancel your trip for any reason, a full refund will be issued immediately.
In the event of inclement weather the decision to sail rests exclusively with the captain.
If the captain deems it unsafe or inappropriate for the vessel to set sail in the prevailing weather conditions, We will do our best to rebook you. In the even that we can’t, a full refund will be issued immediately.
If the captain seems it safe and appropriate to sail and you choose not to go, no compensation is available although we will do our best to rebook you.
