We will develop this very specific 3 day program of horsey fun and education to ensure you get the most of your time with us.
Detailed topics to help fill in some knowledge gaps, or perhaps introduce you to something you haven’t tried before.

Check-In
All Riders must arrive 30 mins before their scheduled ride. This is so we can fit your helmet and go through important safety instructions before the ride departs at the scheduled time.
What to Wear
Please ensure all riders are wearing long pants and fully enclosed shoes acceptable for riding a horse. Any rider arriving in unsuitable shoes will be provided with an option from our small selection – however all sizes not guaranteed.
Gunnamatta Trail Rides advises you bring a jacket with you in case of rain, as rides will continue regardless of weather – except in extreme storm conditions where you will be contacted to reschedule the booking.

Weight Restrictions
Strictly 90kg (maximum - including long pants & shoes)
For the safety of our customers and the health of our horses, we have a safety weight restriction. Too great a weight on a horse’s back can cause serious injury and thus we have a Customer maximum weight restriction of strictly 90kg including long pants & shoes.
All Customers are weighed on scales in our Office prior to the commencement of their Activity.
If we have been INCORRECTLY advised & their weight exceeds the 90kg Maximum Safety Weight Restriction the booking will NOT be rescheduled, NO Credit will be offered and NO Refund will be provided under any circumstances.
Unfortunately, any person who weighs more than the 90kg maximum safety weight policy will NOT be able to ride with us.
Rescheduling, Cancellation and Refund Policy
You can purchase at an additional cost, our “Rescheduling” cover either at the time or within 24hrs from the time when you have made your original Booking as listed below:
Extra Charge – Rescheduling Cover
Allows the Rider to reschedule their booking with 2 days or more notice prior to the Experience Date.
Bookings within the 48hr period cannot be changed
$50pp participant fee to change the Experience Date &/or Time with 2 days or more notice prior to the Experience Date.
Gunnamatta Trail Rides operates a NO-REFUND Policy for all Cancellations, Non-attendances, Late Attendance, and Failure to participate and breaching any of the Company's Policies. Subject to any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, all bookings are FINAL.
If there is a possibility where you may want to change the date / time of your Experience, we strongly suggest that you purchase the Rescheduling cover, that gives you the flexibility to make any potential changes to your Booking.
No Credits, Rescheduling, Transfer of Credits or Refunds will be offered to any Rider if you have changed your mind after you have made a Booking.
Check-in Arrival Time
All riders must arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled ride, all customers will be weighed in the office, fitted with a suitable helmet and will take part in the mandatory safety briefing.
Any late-arrivals are deemed as a no-show and their booking will be cancelled. In this case, we do not offer any Refunds, Credit or Rescheduling, therefore, all monies will be forfeited.
- All Customers Waiver forms must be done immediately after the booking has been made, which will enable us to review and confirm acceptance of your ability to participate in the selected Ride.
-Failure to take part in the mandatory Safety briefing will void your participation in the Ride.
Therefore, please ensure you plan ahead and give yourself sufficient time to arrive on time for check-in by respecting the terms & conditions of your booking, other Customers, our staff and our horses that are all working to deliver your chosen experience.
