Experience ice fishing and get that Alaskan sub-arctic ice fishing experience! Alaska's winter wonderland, heated shelters, and experienced fishing guides will make this tour your bucket list experience. After pick up from the resort and a short drive to the lake, you can watch how we drill holes through 3ft of ice. Next you will get instruction and learn the best ice fishing techniques, and maybe even taste the deliciousness of your own fresh caught fish! Hot drinks are always available as well to keep you energized. This ice fishing tour is perfect for beginners, the curious to learn something new, and for any level angler.
- Minimum of two guests to operate tour and maximum of 8 guests.
- The first tour is at 10am, and the second tour is at 1 pm. Each tour is 3 hours long.
- Booking needs to be made 24 hours prior for either tour. We cannot confirm it until the operator/guide agrees to it.
- This tour starts November 1st.

After pick up from the resort, a short drive to the lake you can watch how we drill holes through 3ft of ice. Next you will get instruction and learn the best ice fishing techniques, maybe even taste the deliciousness of perhaps your own caught fresh fish. Hot drinks are always available as well to keep you energized. This ice fishing tour is perfect for a beginner, the curious to learn something new, and for any level angler.
Minimum of two guests to operate tour and maximum of 8 guests. If it does not meet the minimum to operate, tour will be cancelled and refunded. Hours are 10 am for the first tour and it runs for 3 hours, next one is at 1 pm and also 3 hours. Booking needs to be made 24 hours prior for either tour. We cannot confirm it until the operator/guide agrees to it. This tour starts November 1st.
What to Bring
Please dress up warm (snow pants/jacket/hat/gloves/winter boots). Bring your picture ID and fishing license with you on the tour. Only signed fishing licenses with the valid date of your tour are accepted. Make sure to only buy a 1 day sport fishing license (you do NOT need a king salmon stamp). Electronic copies still need to be signed on your phone. Don’t forget to bring cash to tip your guide!

Tipping your Guide (10-20%)
Tips for your Guides are not included in the price of your tour. Just like any other service in the USA it is common courtesy for guests to tip 10%-20% of your tour value. Please remember to bring cash on your tour. Cash is the preferred method of tip payment to the guide, driver, or any staff that has provided you with great service. You are free to deal with the staff member directly or you may have the tip added to your bill.
Cancellation Policy
Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price. Late arrivals (1+ minutes late) may be considered no-shows, and charged full price.
