Description: Take a guided kayak tour along one of the most dramatic balboa rock lined coastlines in the world. Located within the sacred Blue Belt Wildlife Sanctuary, full of hidden beaches, contoured cliffs, crystal clean ocean water. Most tours are lucky enough to see creatures like domestic sea lions, water birds, dolphins, exotic fish, whales, and more.
This activity is perfect for all ages and experience levels. Laguna Ethos pride ourselves in providing customer satisfaction and the most authentic Laguna Beach cultural experience.
We meet on a private seaside in north laguna, wherein your guide will provide a safety brief in accordance with the Water Safety Authority and paddle basics. Then we release into the calm, covered cove, in which we hug the dramatic shoreline and spot first rate coves and beachfront mansions. We'll paddle though pacific kelp beds and learn about the precious ecology and wildlife, over hidden reefs, and see marine life such as garibaldi (our California country fish), harbor seals, pacific sea lions, bottlenose and common dolphins. And if we are lucky, we could see whales!!
Afterwards you will feel energized and ready for the rest of your sun drenched day in Laguna Beach, CA! Our guides always provide the best advice for local cuisine and various levels of entertainment, ranging from hikes to surf lessons. Be sure to ask about what's happening in the Art Festival or local downtown.
Kayak tours are for everyone. No experience necessary.

- Tours embark NO LATER than 15 MINUTES after your original booking times. Due to limited availability, refunds will not be issued due to tardiness. A 24 HOUR NOTICE IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A REFUND
- We recommend arriving 30 minutes early during the summer months in order to find parking.
What to Bring: - Swim trunks, t-shirt, sunglasses with strap, hat, sunblock, water, towel
- Wear anything you don't mind getting wet!
Special Requirements: - 8 years and up can paddle in a tandem with an adult.
- Children 3 - 7 can ride for half price in the middle with 2 adults

Directions: Months June-September please arrive 30 minutes early to find parking. Free parking available in the neighborhood streets surrounding husky boy hamburgers. Once parked walk 5 minutes down hill to 631 cliff Dr, Laguna beach ca, 92651
We do not provide refunds or free rescheduling for guests who “can’t find parking.”**
631 Cliff Drive, which is a 2-story oceanfront condominium just to the left (south) of Fisherman’s Cove when looking from Cliff Dr.
Look for a big white box truck with green and blue kayaks inside. Yellow kayaks are a different company. Your guide/ guides will hook you up with paddles, life vests, and securely lock away any of your valuables.
We launch from Fisherman’s Cove, a hidden residential beach in North Laguna with the calmest, wave-protected channel for launching and landing.
Directions:
From the north: Take Pacific Coast Hwy south into town. Go to 3rd traffic light- Cliff Drive (note: the second traffic light is also Cliff). Make right then immediate left. The road winds down the hill and bends to the right. When you see the ocean on your right you have passed the entry steps to Fisherman’s Cove. Look for parking. Anything south is metered (and takes credit cards). Anything to the north is residential (free). If you can’t find parking on Cliff, then try Coast Hwy.
From the south and east: At the downtown Laguna intersection of Broadway (Hwy 133) and Coast Hwy, go north on Coast Hwy. Pass two traffic lights (Cliff and Jasmine). At the third right (Myrtle) go left, and then right on Cliff Drive. Heisler Park will be on your left. Road will bend left and dip, and then the first building on the left (ocean side) will be 631 Cliff Drive. Look for parking. Anything south is metered (and takes credit cards). Anything to the north is residential (free). If you can’t find parking try Coast Hwy or neighborhoods near husky boy hamburgers.
Cancellation Policy
Because we have limited capacities, this booking is not cancelable within 24 hours. Cancellations received 24 hours prior to tour will receive a full refund. If Laguna Ethos cancels the tour because of unsafe ocean conditions, you will receive a full refund. Due to constantly changing ocean conditions, we reserve the right to cancel a tour at any time in accordance with the Marine safety division.
If the minimum requirement of 2 bookings is not met, we reserve the right to cancel a tour at any time with a full refund.
