What to Bring: Comfortable closed-toed shoes and/or closed-toed water shoes, swim gear, reusable water bottle, and any personal sun protection (hat, sunglasses, etc.)
Restrictions: Guests should be able to hike on uneven or rocky terrain. We sometimes encounter cool, wet, or muddy conditions. Other restrictions may apply.

Are child safety seats required?
Yes. Hawaii's Child Passenger Restraint Law requires that children up to age 10 who are under 4 feet 9 inches tall must be properly secured in a child safety or booster seat. Children age 2 and under must ride in a rear-facing car seat. Those between the ages of 4 and 10 who have not yet reached 4'9" must use a child safety seat or booster.
Hawaii Forest & Trail provides car seats, booster seats, and backpack carriers for use upon request.
