TOUR OVERVIEW:
Step into the spooky past and supernatural happenings of Kailua-Kona on this evening tour. After the sun dips down, follow an expert local guide as you explore eerie tales of hauntings and real-life historical events that are sure to send chills down your spine.
Meet up with your guide and set out on foot down the historic Ali'i Drive beginning the tour with a prayer of protection, a statement of intention, and a brief overview of Kona's fascinating, mystery-filled history. From there, make your way to various locations where supernatural events are believed to have occurred, from the historic location of human sacrifices to the path where the ghostly, torch-wielding Night Marchers are believed to walk.
Pass by the one-time royal summer palace of Hawaii's kings and queens, see the first Christian church in the islands, and roam among the tombstones in 2 cemeteries. Hear about the history of the old Kona Inn, built on the site of an ancient temple known to have more than 40 totem-style ki'i statues. At each location, put specialized paranormal activity detection equipment to the test as you try to seek out the energy of spiritual beings, and wrap up your haunted foray with a cleansing white sage smudge.
NOTE: We must have a minimum of two (2) total guests to run the tour. Meeting location will be emailed to you at time of purchase.

This tour is wheelchair and scooter accessible. Guests will need to transport and operate their own equipment on this tour.

📍 TOUR MEETING TIME & LOCATION:
Aloha, and thank you for booking with us! Prepare for a paranormal evening. We usually meet as a group at the Kona Inn Shopping Village, right next to Friendly Activities located at the intersection of Ali'i Drive and Hualalai Rd. It's best to arrive about 10 minutes before your tour start time and we end the tour at the Kailua Pier. Please call our guide if you will be late or unable to join the group. 808-238-2264

To help ensure the best experience for our guests we have the following cancellation policy: Tickets are non-refundable but good for up to one year from the time of purchase. We understand things may come up that prevent you from attending your tour. Customers will receive a full refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather (this is the tropics) or other unforeseen circumstances. No-call no-shows will be charged the full price.
