This Big Apple Jazz tour stands out as the essential way to hear outstanding classic jazz music played by the world's best musicians in an itinerary that selects the most soulful stars in town.
Itinerary:
We start out the evening at 6:30PM visiting one of NYC's legendary clubs featuring world class jazz hand-picked for your enjoyment. Your licensed jazz tour guide will help set the scene by informing you of the players and their historical significance.
Next, join your jazz guide for an additional set in a more intimate underground club setting featuring some of the Big Apple's future jazz legends - the renowned sidemen and women leading their own all-star bands. Big Apple Jazz Tours' CEO, Gordon Polatnick, will custom select the most exciting off-the-beaten-path neighborhood clubs and bands that you must see on that particular night.
Like jazz music itself, every time you experience this tour it's different.
Because there is so much great music to choose from, the itinerary will attempt to capture a variety of styles with an ear toward soulful and lyrical playing and/or singing. In this way, all guests, regardless of their experience listening to jazz, will be able to fully enjoy the music.
What Is Not Included?
Food and beverages are not included in the tour price, but there will be opportunities to eat and drink during this tour when we visit the jazz clubs. You may wish to bring some extra dollars to tip guides and servers, and add to the LOVE BUCKET for the local musicians.
A third set in a third venue is not included, but is available as an add-on to this tour.

Meet at: Zinc Bar: 82 W 3rd St, New York, NY 10012 in The Village between Thompson Street and Sullivan Street. This location is accessible by the A B C D E F and M train to West 4th Street.
The Zinc Bar is charming and historic, greeting you with a lounge as you enter. Ideally, let's meet in the lounge or a section of the bar closest to the door. If you are running late, it is very important to contact Gordon by text or voice at +1 917 863-7854.
Cancellation Policy
Non-refundable, but can be rescheduled, or converted into a Gift Certificate to be held till future travel plans can be determined. Please be assured that Big Apple Jazz Tours is going to work with all our customers to move dates or transfer tours to other parties in the form of Gift Certificates. Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded. Exceptions to this policy will be made on a case by case basis, so please get in touch - we always strive to be fair.
The activity runs regardless of weather conditions. In the rare situation where the seller is forced to cancel the event, ticket-holders will be allowed to reschedule to another time (subject to availability), or be refunded ticket price in full.
Physical ability notice.
Most tours involve walking, stairs and taking of mass transit. All are welcome, but those using wheelchairs, crutches, or who require any extra assistance are advised to come with a travel partner that can help.
