This hike connects trails, hidden neighborhoods and nature paths east of town along the Roaring Fork River and the Hunter Creek. This is a great beginner to intermediate hike that's easily accessible from the heart of town and is full of scenic views all around the outskirts of town.
The majority of the hike is adjacent to tranquil flowing bodies of water.

Tour Start - Please meet 5 minutes prior to tour start on the pedestrian mall near the dancing fountain directly across from the corner of the Wheeler Opera House / Aspen Public House (320 E. Hyman Ave. Aspen, CO 81611)

Dress for all weather conditions - Please come prepared for sun/rain, with comfortable walking shoes.

As this hike is conducted entirely outside please dress for the weather.
Be prepared with the following
- Hiking boots or shoes
- Weather-appropriate clothing (think moisture-wicking and layers)
- Sun Hat
- Sunscreen
- Water Bottle (1 liter +)
- Trail Snacks
- Rain Gear (Jacket at the very least)
- Daypack to carry items
