About the Luau
Begin Your Luau Kalamaku Experience with a True Taste of Kauai Whether it’s an intimate party of two or a celebration for up to 20, enjoy a specialized dinner at Gaylord’s Restaurant at Kilohana.
Under the direction of Chef de Cuisine, you will delight in a unique menu featuring meats, fish and produce, including fruits and vegetables from Kilohana Plantation’s 60-acre orchard and agricultural park.
YOUR EVENING
Join us as the Kauai skies darken and our cast takes the stage to tell the amazing story of the epic voyage between Hawaii and Tahiti along one of the longest sea roads of Polynesia. Through these ancient voyager’s laughter, fear, seduction and fire, a new legacy is created, born from the cherished seeds of their ancestors. Our theatrical luau will bring you to tears and have you jumping from your seats as the story our cast weaves brings you back to the original days of the Hawaiian people culminating with a fantastic fire dream featuring fire poi balls and traditional fire knife dancing.
Guests selecting this package will enjoy a relaxing dining experience. If you would like to experience the pre-show train ride (additional fee applies), imu unveiling and craft fair, we recommend booking the regular luau package which offers a buffet and open bar. There is no child pricing; children (ages 2 to 17) pay the full adult price. Infants (up to age 2) are free of charge; but they won't receive a meal or have a seat at the restaurant or show.

If you need transportation to and from the show, please book our transportation add-on in the previous step. If no transportation is booked, you must provide your own transportation to the luau.

After arrival, head to the Kilohana Mansion to check-in no later than 5:00 PM.
No transportation is included in this option, you must provide your own transportation to the luau. Parking is free. If you need transportation to and from the luau, please book the Plantation Owner's Package with the Hotel Pickup option for an additional fee.

Cancellation Policy
Refunds will be honored if cancellation requests are made directly to Luau Kalamaku or your booking agency within 48 hours prior to your check-in time at the luau. Contact us by phone or email (after-hours) to cancel. If your booking is with a third-party agency, your payment was collected by them and your refund will come from that agency directly. A full charge applies for cancellation requests outside of 48 hours and for no-shows.
For groups of 20 or more, whether booked directly or through an affiliate, cancellations made at least 21 days (3 weeks) before the luau reservation date will receive a full refund. Group size reductions of up to 10% (e.g., 2 guests in a 20-person group) are also allowed by this deadline. Cancellations or changes made within 21 days of the luau reservation date are non-refundable.
TRIP PROTECTION
Trip Protection is only available for bookings made directly through Luau Kalamaku’s website at www.LuauKalamaku.com or by calling our reservations team. It does not apply to third-party or agency bookings. Trip Protection must be selected at the time of booking and is non-refundable. It allows cancellation or rescheduling for any reason before 1:30 PM on the date of the luau. Guests will receive a full refund, less the cost of Trip Protection and any applicable processing or booking fees. Once rescheduled using Trip Protection, the booking cannot be cancelled or refunded again.
