Your group will be brought down to the dock and assisted to board the boat. Your captain will do a safety briefing and your tour will begin. Our Wildlife Sightseeing and Shelling tours travel all around the islands south of Marco Island and stop on one of the isolated islands for about 30-45 minutes. Your crew will provide you with interesting facts and information about the ecosystem, history, and wildlife you come across throughout the tour. As you are walking the beach looking for shells, your captain and guide will assist in finding shells or answer any questions you may have. You are also welcome to swim, just ask your crew the best/safe place to do so. The tour will start and end at the same park location. Please note tours may start a few minutes late or end a few minutes late depending on the amount of activity at the dock as this is a public boat ramp and dock.
Highlights: Have you ever had the opportunity to walk on an uninhabited island collecting rare and beautiful sea shells? Look no further than this excursion as you will get this opportunity and have gained knowledge about marine life you never would expect!

This excursion not only shows you the beauty and realism of our marine ecosystem, but the important role it plays in our daily life. How we gain protections from hurricanes, vital food sources, and the natural beauty it has.

You'll also get the opportunity to see the amazing wildlife that calls this area home. The unique marine species and mammals, such as our local dolphins! You'll be wishing the trip never ended!
Check in Details: Guests will need to sign our online waivers before check in. This can be found in the confirmation email. A text the day before or morning of the tour will be sent as a reminder of location and waivers.

Once parked and checked in you will be instructed for a parking pass, where the bathroom is, and where to wait before the crew calls for their group.

Wildlife sightings can be unpredictable. We never know what the dolphins, birds or other wildlife are doing at any given time of day, or where they are hanging out. As you cruise around the islands, your captain is driving to all the known favorite spots of the dolphins. Sometimes this can take a little bit of time, so please be patient and understanding that your captain and guide are doing their best!
Faqs: What should we wear? Should we bring bathing suits?
Bathing suits are ideal, but outdoor comfortable wear is perfect! Guests are welcome to swim at the island beach. Just ensure you have comfortable shoes that can get wet to walk along the beaches. If a lot of shells, it can be uncomfortable to walk on.

Will we see dolphins?
Yes, your captain and guide will be looking for them on the way to and from the island, along with other wildlife you may come across. You will also get interesting facts about the species as well.

How long are we shelling for?
About 30-45 minutes. This depends on how much wildlife is seen on the way to the island beach and the interests of the group.

Will we find sand dollars?
Please let your captain and guide know that you wish to find sand dollars as some of the locations we like to go to do not have any sand dollars. There are only two specific locations we can go to to find sand dollars.
