After a tour of the city and time inside the museum of your choice, you'll have some time to explore famous Beale Street on your own before boarding the Island Queen for a memorable journey on Ol’ Man River. You’ll get exceptional views of the downtown skyline, the Pyramid, the bluffs, the Arkansas “dueling grounds” and more, and hear interesting historical commentary and lore.
The Mississippi is one of the world’s great rivers, and has a cherished place in American history and Folklore: for many it’s a “bucket list” item to cruise its waters. If you ask us, though, there’s simply no more pleasant way to spend a lazy afternoon than on the water.

All tours depart from the Backbeat Tours ticket podium at ALFRED'S ON BEALE, on the corner of Beale Street and BB King Blvd (197 Beale Street).
We ask that you please check in at our ticket counter no later than 10 - 15 minutes before your tour.

Public Transportation:
The Main Street trolley goes up and down Main Street and serves many downtown hotels. To find us, get off at the stop on Main Street and Beale Street and walk two blocks to BB King Blvd.
By Car:
From the North:
- Take 2nd Street south to Beale Street.
- Turn left onto Lt. George W. Lee Street
- Turn left onto BB King Blvd.
- Arrive at Alfred's on Beale
From the East:
- Take I-40 towards Memphis.
- Take the exit for 2nd Street.
- Follow 2nd Street until you reach Beale Street
- Turn left onto Lt. George W. Lee Street
- Turn left onto BB King Blvd.
- Arrive at Alfred's on Beale
From the South:
- Take I-55 North to the Riverside Drive exit.
- Turn right onto Beale Street.
- Continue on Beale until you reach 2nd Street
- Turn right onto 2nd Street
- Turn left onto Lt. George W. Lee Street
- Turn left onto BB King Blvd.
- Arrive at Alfred's on Beale
From the West:
- Take I-40 to the Front St./Downtown exit.
- Follow Front Street South.
- Turn left onto Beale Street.

- Turn left onto BB King Blvd.

There are numerous parking options near the tour departure location. Cancellation Policy
Customers may receive a full refund with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
