Please Note: You are not making a reservation for a specific time.
Online Sales stop 2.5 hours prior to the activity end time (2:30pm) and & In Person Ticket Window sales stop 1.5 hours prior to the activity end time (3:30pm).
Walkins will be accommodated based upon availability. Reservations are highly recommended.
We recommend arriving at the Mountain Coaster no later than 1.5 hour prior to closing time in the event there is a line.
When you arrive, check in, get your token, and then get a ticket to hold your place in the line queue!
Be aware that there will still be a line to get on the ride. For each ride you purchase, you will have to re-enter the line queue. Wait times on busy dates can be up to 2-3 hours long.
Rate
We recommend purchasing one ride per person. Each guest will receive a token for each ride. If you would like to ride again we recommend purchasing additional rides on site after completing your first.

About
Think of it as a combination alpine slide and roller coaster. The Thunderbolt takes riders up 1,580 feet of up-track through the forest before the cart disengages and gravity takes over.
The 3,870 feet of downhill track are designed with swooping turns, banked corners, rolling drops, and 360° turns. Each cart is equipped with its own braking system, allowing you to slow speeds to a comfortable pace or accelerate to G-Force inducing levels.

Thank you for your purchase, we look forward to your visit. Mountain Coaster tokens do not expire and are non-refundable.
Check in and Location:
The Thunderbolt Mountain Coaster is located atop Bobcat, our beginner ski trail to the left of our Main Lodge. You'll see a big blue sign for the Coaster on a white and brown building.
We recommend arriving a least 1 hour prior to the activity end time.
Our check in space is located on the right side of the building. Once you speak with one of our staff members and they check to make sure your waiver has been signed, you'll get your token and head to the entrance for the coaster. The entrance is located on the left side of the building.

Please arrive at least an hour prior to closing to insure we can accommodate you.
Signing your waiver ahead of arriving makes the check in process a breeze, so hop in line after speaking with our staff and have fun!

Weather:
We do not cancel trips for rain or other inclement weather. We operate rain or shine, regardless of the temperatures, so please come prepared with rain gear and warm clothes if rain or cold temperatures are in the forecast.
Cancellation Policy
Activity Cancellation Policy
If You Have to Cancel:
If you choose not to purchase the cancellation insurance and need to cancel:
- More than 30 days in advance of your trip date, we retain a $10 per person cancellation fee.
- 30 days or less in advance of your trip date, you forfeit the entire cost of your trip, unless you have purchased the Cancellation Insurance or have to cancel due to Covid restrictions (see below).
- Covid related cancellations made 30 days to 24 hours before your scheduled trip date are ONLY eligible for a credit for the total amount paid. No-shows on the date of the trip or last-minute cancellations are not eligible for a credit. If you would prefer a refund, we encourage you to purchase the Cancellation Insurance.
Transferring Reservations:
All reservations are transferable to another person, but not another date, unless you have purchased Cancellation Insurance. Transferring to another date is the same as cancelling.
Cancellation Insurance:
Cancellation insurance allows you to cancel or change the date of your reservation up to 24 hours in advance of your trip. Guests who cancel will receive a full refund minus the cost of the cancellation insurance and processing fee. It must be purchased for the whole group or not at all. No-shows on the date of the trip or last-minute cancellations are not covered by cancellation insurance.
Customers will receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
