About the Tour
The Dive Maui team loves diving and all of our dives have the potential to be one hour long, air permitting. Unless otherwise requested, our night dives are conducted on 80’s (standard size tanks) which means you can expect close to an hour underwater.
All our shore dives are private or in small groups of no more than 4 divers so you will get the most out of your experience. Smaller groups make it easier for your PADI professional to give you individualized attention and point out the cool stuff.
Previous night dive experience is not required as long as you are Open Water Certified but we do recommend a day dive before signing up for the night dive.. Your instructor will do a thorough night dive procedural and site briefing before each dive.
The time of the sunset does change seasonally, but for most of the year we will meet at 6pm for our night dives. Please check in with the shop the day before your dive to confirm the start time as it does shift.
Location
This is a shore dive and location is determined by the instructor on the day.
Diver Requirements
- 10 years old
- Certified Open water diver
- Can carry 35 LB of gear into the ocean.
- Comfortable swimming in the Ocean.
- Have dove in the previous 6 months.
What to Bring
- Towel
- Completed coursework
- Any gear you own.
Cancellation Policy
- There is a 48 hour cancellation policy on all cancellations and rescheduling of dives. Dive Maui is not responsible for cancellations due to a guests' failure to complete coursework needed before a dive or for illness.
- Tour is subject to cancellation or reschedule due to weather or capacity.

Departure Time:Please arrive on time at 6pm as we leave promptly. (Note the time of sunset shifts seasonally, please check in with us the day before your dive to confirm a meeting time.)
Location: We are located at 1223 Front Street in Lahaina
Parking:There is parking in the lot in front of the shop and overflow parking along the street across from the shop.
What to bring: Bathing suit, towel, certification card, any dive gear you own and a smile.

Mahalo for booking a night dive with Dive Maui. Night diving is a unique way to explore the ocean. Many creatures come out only at night and diving in the dark is the best way to see unique animal behavior.
Since the time of sunset varies seasonally, please check in with us the day before your dive to confirm the meeting time as it might shift. Unless otherwise planned with your guide, all dives will meet at our shop location, 1223 Front Street.
We provide all the dive gear but if you have your own its a good idea to bring it with you. We also recommend you bring a towel and water.

Cancellation Policy
All reservations are subject to a 48 hour cancellation policy. Dive Maui reserves the right to cancel a dive if conditions are not safe. Dives cancelled by Dive Maui staff based on weather will receive full refund.
