On this full-day adventure starting in Fairbanks, you will cross the Arctic Circle, watch the Northern Lights, and enjoy the expansive landscape of Alaska’s untouched wilderness. You’ll experience Alaska like you have never seen it before while enjoying a comfortable drive and narration from your expert guide.
Please note that seeing the Northern Lights is not guaranteed.
What is Included: - Pick up/drop off from hotels only within the city limits of Fairbanks or North Pole. If you are staying at an Air BnB, please contact the office on 907 712 4529 (landline) for the closest pick up location.

Highlights: - After pickup from your Fairbanks hotel, travel to the legendary Arctic Circle, where explorers have been venturing for centuries, drawn by the power of planet Earth. Stop here to take pictures and receive a ‘Cross the Circle Certificate!’
- We drive along the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, which stretches over 800 miles (1,287 km) through Alaska. You will learn the history of its inception to its completion.
-Drive across the mighty Yukon River Bridge and stroll along the riverbank and gaze at the scenic landscape.
- Stop and walk the 1/2 mile informative loop at Finger Mountain. Look over the Kanuti Flats below you and learn about the symbiotic relationship of the environment around you. (seasonal stop)
- Cross the Arctic Circle where we will enjoy some sandwiches, snacks and hot drinks.
- Travel back toward Fairbanks at night, looking for Lady Aurora to make her appearance in the sky above you. We will stop often to take photos or simply to marvel at and be mesmerized by this phenomenon.
- Gaze up at the spectacular Northern Lights as you drive through the night, arriving back in Fairbanks at dawn.

Important information regarding food options
Vegan/Gluten Free requests: Please note that if you have requested your meal option as either vegan or gluten free, that these products are limited in availability up here in Alaska and we cannot guarantee we can provide these options or to your liking. We therefore recommend bringing your own food provisions to avoid any disappointment.
Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION/ REFUND POLICY
All tours are refundable under following conditions:
- The Cancellation was made more than 24 hours before the tour departure time, or
- if we must cancel the tour due to:
- minimum capacity not being met
- dangerous weather conditions or
- other emergencies.
For Private tours and groups of 8 or more-
- To receive a full refund, cancellation of private tours or groups of 8 or more must be made no more than 30 days prior to the date of the tour.
Please note: The online booking fee is not refundable.
We are aware that sometimes unforeseen circumstances and illness can prevent our customers from taking their tour. For this reason, we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance before your trip.
NO SHOWS/ DELAYS / LATE ARRIVAL
- Punctuality is extremely important when traveling with a group. Our waiting policy at the pick-up location is 15 minutes. If guests do not arrive within that time, it is considered a no-show and no refund will be provided. This policy pertains to all our tours, including tours beginning from our property.
- Any reservation not used/ claimed is non-refundable.
- Alaska Wildlife Guide is not responsible for delays or missed tours.
Snowmachine tours
You MUST arrive no more than 30 minutes before your tour time for your safety briefing and gear check. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your safety briefing, you will forfeit your tour and will not be eligible for any refund.

Guest safety is our major priority, hence we reserve the right to cancel or alter any itinerary as conditions require. Any changes made will be in the interest of Alaska Wildlife Guide LLC passengers or as a result of circumstances beyond Alaska Wildlife Guide LLC's control. In case of a full cancellation, a full refund will be provided. Partial refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
If you are unable to make it to your tour on time or need to cancel, please contact our office between 9am and 5pm Alaska time on 907 712 4529, as soon as possible.
