Please bring your student handbook, plus your centerfire handgun and a minimum of two magazines (or three speedloaders for revolvers) and at least three hundred rounds of ammo. In the tradition of the NRA's "coach-pupil" teaching method, you will be shooting in the role of a student, as your fellow instructor candidates practice their assigned lessons. You will also need your NRA Instructor number.
You will also need to bring a concealable holster and a carrier for your magazines/speedloaders. I recommend a strong-side friction fit holster as the most practical for this class. For safety concerns, shoulder holsters will NOT be accepted. You will need to wear a jacket, vest, or some other garment that completely conceals your holster and magazines. We will be shooting from the kneeling position so you may wish to bring knee pads (although this is not necessary).
If you have any questions, please E-mail me. I look forward to training with you again!
