Paddle clinics take your from the proper way to hold your paddle to reducing drag and increasing speed with each paddle stroke.
Why do this?
You become a safer paddler in breezy conditions, you will avoid overuse injuries from incorrect form and you will have a lot more fun when you know what you are doing out there.
Regular park daily use fees may apply and are not included in ticket price for Picnic Paddle.

We are looking forward to teaching you at the paddle clinic. Wear sunscreen and prepare to get wet. All equipment is included, (kayak or Paddleboard, Paddles and Life Jacket) but feel free to bring your own gear if you have it. Come a few minutes early to make sure everything is set up correctly and meet your instructor. Be prepared to get wet. It is possible to end up in the water. Our guides are all Certified and taught in rescue work as well as excellent paddle instructors. So they are ready for anything. Part of your instruction may include self rescue so you are also ready for anything. bring a towel and change of clothes as well. See you there!
Cancellation Policy
- 8 days or more before rental: 100% refundable,
- 7 days or less before rental: 50% refundable,
- 24 hrs or less - 0% refundable

DIG PADDLESPORTS INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
If an event or rental cannot begin because of weather conditions, Dig Paddlesports will hold off rentals and events start for up to 30 minutes. At that time conditions will be evaluated, and a decision will be made whether the event or rental can continue or not. Weather conditions often improve, therefore events/ rentals are not canceled in advance. Some events/rentals may continue in the rain.
If an event or rental is canceled by Dig Paddlesports due to inclement weather, purchaser may;
Receive the value of their tickets on an exchange card which works like a gift card and is valid for rental or events in the next 12 months.
Exchange their tickets directly toward another event
*Reschedule for the same event if it has been postponed to a future date.
DIG PADDLESPORTS retains the right to change these policies at any time for any reason.
