Not All Students May Be Able To Complete The Course
***Our instructors are all PADI instructors who have to adhere to very strict teaching guidelines. Just because you enrolled in a course doesn't mean you will become certified. If students are not able to properly complete the course requirements per these guidelines, due to anxiety, poor performance, health issues or other circumstances, we will be unable to process your certification. Our team strives to work with each individual to help them overcome fears and work on specific skills where we identify struggles, but sometimes the expedited manner of the course is not conducive to the student. In this scenario we will modify the course to best fit the situation. If we cannot get you fully certified as an " Advanced Open Water Diver", we will strive to at least get you a partial certification called "Adventure Diver". Doing this will allow you to still receive a partial certification without a time limit for completing the full course. (Some scenarios this may not be possible either). There is no difference in price of the course when these modifications must be implemented. Should the schedule allow additional days to help complete the course, we will do so at $95+tax per person/per day.
Medical Conditions May Prevent You From Diving
Diver safety is our TOP PRIORITY! We want to share our passion for diving with you, but we must be safe about it. Therefore, we have sent you our "Diver Medical Questionnaire" to complete PRIOR to arriving for your scheduled tour. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO FILL THIS OUT AHEAD OF TIME and FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS on this form. Should you NOT follow all instructions on this form OR fail to complete prior to the day of and you have a medical condition that will prevent you from diving with us without a medical professional completing a liability waiver, we will be unable to take you diving AND will be unable to process a refund as you have taken up space that we would have been able to fill with another guest from our extensive waitlist. If you need to be seen LOCALLY by a licensed physician, please contact: Dr Burress at Poipu Moble MD: 808.652.7021 https://poipumd.com
Elevation and Diving Safety
PLEASE NOTE: For YOUR SAFETY you cannot participate in any activity above 1000' or 300 meters in elevation within 18 hours after diving. This includes driving and hiking to Waimea Canyon, Taking a Helicopter or Airplane Tour of the island as well as departing island in a commercial aircraft (even if just flying to Oahu). Our staff will have your safety in mind and may prevent you from participating in the scheduled dive. This would result in being considered a "DAY OF CANCELLATION" and therefore will not be eligible for any refund of any kind. If you made a reservation less than 18 hours prior to going above 1000' or 300 meters in elevation, please contact our office outside 24 hours to cancel or reschedule your course. If you are within our 24 hour cancellation period, the cancellation policy will be in full effect.
