This course is designed for the person who would like to try Scuba Diving without having to take the full dive certification course. No experience necessary.
All equipment included.
Taught by professional PADI Professional Instructors following the highest standards.
NO MINIMUM number of participants required to book. Maximum of 4 participants per instructor. If the number of participants in your group exceeds the quantity available to book online, Call the Dive Center for personalized attention.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program lets you experience the wonder of diving under the supervision of a PADI Instructor in ideal conditions.. During your adventure, you'll master some basic concepts and scuba skills in shallow sea water, before heading off on an open water dive on a shallow ocean reef..
Your open water dive takes you as deep as 40 feet/12 metres. The Discover Scuba Diving experience is a great way to get a head start on your PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certification. That's because the skills you complete during this adventure, such as mask clearing, regulator recovery and sharing air, may credit these certification levels, so you can continue where you left off. Be sure to ask you instructor for more information.

Note: You will be required to complete a PADI Medical Questionaire at Check-in. Presence of Health conditions listed on the Medical Statement will prevent participation without a doctor's consent. Call the dive center if you have any concerns.
As part of the training, you will learn that you need to allow 18 hours to pass before flying after diving!

ARRIVAL POLICY:
Check-in is the time stated on your reservation on the day of the Tour at Crashboat Watersports, Road 458 Aguadilla, Puerto Rico 00603.
Anticipate slower traffic and longer driving times. If you need directions, please call us and let us know where you are coming from and we are happy to help you, Please let us know as soon as possible if you are delayed in anyway.
After Check-in, equipment fitting and briefing, participants will carpool or caravan to the entry. Depending on the size of your group, the guide may or may not be able to accommodate transportation from Dive Center to entry. All activities start and end on the beach--NO BOAT IS REQUIRED for a great experience.
WHAT TO BRING:
ALL GUESTS: APPLY BIODEGRADABLE SUNSCREEN BEFORE arrival. Biodegradable sunblock is environmentally friendly sunscreen that lacks the harmful ingredients that are destroying the world's coral reefs. Biodegradable means they break down naturally in the environment, and eco-friendly minimizing damage to the environment. Common chemical sunscreen ingredients, such as oxybenzone, can bleach coral and damage coral reefs. Look for a brand that uses physical sunblocks such as titanium dioxide and zinc oxide instead of chemical ones.
DRINK plenty of WATER BEFORE arrival.
Wear a SWIMSUIT and bring a TOWEL with you. Water temperature average is low-80's. Wetsuits are available for rental for $10 for additional thermal protection.
IF YOU ARE ON A DISCOVER-SCUBA ADVENTURE TOUR: It is suggested that you wear a t-shirt or sun SHIRT to avoid sunburn and abrasion from the equipment . Bring additional sunscreen to be used if needed. All equipment necessary for tour will be provided. If you have your own snorkeling/dive equipment, feel free to bring it for best personal fit.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
ALL GUESTS will be required to sign an INFORMATION WAIVER and HEALTH FORM. COLDS and Sinus issues will prevent participation in scuba diving activities. PADI Medical Questionaire at Check-in. Presence of Health conditions listed on the Medical Statement will prevent participation without a doctor's consent. Call the dive center if you have any concerns.
Any guests under the age of 18, will require a parent or guardian to also sign on their behalf.
We reserve the right to cancel a reservation if we feel, in our sole opinion, that providing the tour could endanger the health and safety of the participants.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations should be done 48 hours prior to the day of Tour to be exempted from the cancellation charges of 50% of the total tour cost. Cancellations made within 24 hours, will incur the full tour fee.
