The McDowell Mountains are home to some of the best climbing in the Phoenix Basin. Encompassed within the McDowell-Sonoran Preserve, this McDowells are a great place the recreate and escape into nature from the bustle of the metro area. This is also a great place to both begin rock climbing push the grades. With many routes of an approachable nature and convenient access to the city, there’s something for everyone here. Phoenix has some of the warmest temperatures in North America and the McDowells are a perfect option in. the winter months but are also climbable in the spring and fall.

Your guide will call you 24 hours before your trip. You will meet your guide at the trailhead at the decided upon time. Please bring a backpack capable of carrying gear, food and water. Bring plenty go food and water. You will receive a full refund or credit if you cancel 24 hrs before the trip. We do not offer refunds after 24hrs. Trip insurance is highly recommended.

Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 48 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
