1.5 hours • All Ages • The only historically-accurate, pirate-themed scavenger hunt in Charleston!
This Pirate themed scavenger hunt is the first self guided experience in Charleston to replay the very real Pirate Siege of Charles Towne in May of 1718. Guests will walk the same footsteps and visit site that were around during the Golden Age of Piracy. Your goal on this hunt is to find items the pirate need to make ready their escape before local authorities are alerted to their presence. If you finish the scavenger hunt in time, you will escape. If not however, your fate will be sealed and you will discover at the end what happened to the pirates that did not make it out of Charles Towne in time!

Guests should plan on a 1 hour to 1.5 hour experience. Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and a bottle water are recommended to make sure this is a great experience.
The meeting location is the Fireproof Building Museum 100 Meeting St, Charleston, SC 29401.
On the date booked, guests merely need to show up during the hours listed below and show the booking at reception. Guests will receive 1 instruction packet per 2 guest booked.

At times, the starting location may have private school groups. This is very rare but on the off chance there is a sign stating so at the start location, guests can come back in an hour or even another day and complete the experience. This is out of our control, so please if any issues call us and we will assist.
Packets must be returned to the start location before closing at 4pm. Packets can also be returned the next day. If packets are not returned then $30 will be charged.
