Qualify for your CCW with a Private Group Class
Duration: Day 1: 8 Hours • Day 2: 4 Hours
Meeting Point: We can host the class at your work, church, private club, home, etc. Then we will shoot the test at Redwood Gun Club

Description: ### If you have a group of people that wants to get their California Concealed Carry License, this is the class for you. Great for businesses, private clubs & organizations, churches, etc.
We can certify both initial CCW holders and Re-Qualification CCW holders in this class.
This course is typically done in one to two sessions. One classroom session, which is typically around 8 hours, and one shooting session, which is typically around 4 hours. After booking the class, your instructor will reach out to you to set up your class times. We will work around your schedule.
The California CCW course is required by the state to carry any concealed weapon in California. This class is for first-time applicants for a California Concealed Weapons permit or people who let their CCW lapse for more than 1 year. Because this class is in high-demand, we encourage you to sign up early.
This course is broken up into one to two sessions over the course of a couple days. The first session will be a class session held at your desired location. The second session is your qualification shoot, held at Redwood Gun Club.
We will work with you to set up a class time at your desired location and a rage time at Redwood Gun Club. Again, we bring the class to you.
We can incorporate Initial CCW and Re-Qualification CCW students in the same class, if needed.
If you have groups larger than 12 people we can come up with a program that works with you.

CCW SHOOTING TEST COURSE OF FIRE:
- 3 Yards - 10 shots to the Thoracic Cavity and 4 shots to the Cranial Ocular Cavity.
- 5 Yards - 10 shots to the Thoracic Cavity and 4 shots to the Cranial Ocular Cavity.
- 7 Yards - 10 shots to the Thoracic Cavity and 2 shots to the Cranial Ocular Cavity.
- 10 Yards - 10 shots to the Thoracic Cavity and no shots to the Cranial Ocular Cavity.
- 50 shots total, per caliber, per handgun.
NOTE: Re-Qualification shooters shoot 1/2 the shots as initial CCW shooters.
Highlights: SHOOTING QUALIFICATION RULES:
- Initial CCW students bring a minimum of 50 rounds of ammo for each qualifying firearm.
- Anything inside the HEAD counts as a head shot.
- Anything inside the BODY counts as a body shot.
- Anything outside of those two areas count as a MISS.
- No make up shots. If you shoot too many shots in a specific zone, each additional shot will count as a MISS. COUNT YOUR SHOTS!
- If your firearm jams more than three times (TYPE 1, 2, or 3 MALFUNCTIONS) we will fail your firearm.
- If you MUZZLE your instructor or fellow students or do anything your instructor considers to be negligent, you will be disqualified and asked to leave immediately.
- If you miss more than 5 shots you will FAIL the test.
What to Bring: - At least 50 rounds of qualifying ammunition for each firearm. Factory new ammunition only. No reloads. - Bring as many extra magazines as you have for your shooting qualification. You should have a minimum of three magazines per firearm.
- MUST HAVE A HOLSTER FOR EACH FIREARM. No NYLON or "pancake" style holsters. Must be LEATHER or KYDEX and made specifically for the MAKE/MODEL of your firearm.

Faqs: - When to arrive? Arrive to class on time, so we can cover all of the required information during these courses. Please arrive on time to the gun range so we can efficiently qualify all students in the course. - What to wear? Please wear closed-toed shoes, layered clothing that allows for a full range of motion. High neckline shirts are recommended, as some bullet casings can have a tendency to ricochet when firing.
