What is Included: - Use of crystal clear kayak and paddles - Certified and informative tour guide

- Dry bag to store any non-water resistant items you wish to bring with you. Please leave any valuables stored away in your car.
Check in Details: - When entering the Silver Springs parking lot, please follow signs for “Paddling Adventure” that will lead you to the back left corner of the Silver Springs State Park parking lot. - Please check in with your Get Up And Go Kayaking tour guide 30 minutes prior to the start time of your tour in the grassy areas near the boat ramp. You will see them in a Get Up And Go Kayaking shirt standing near the clear kayaks.
- All guests will be required to pay the $2 (per person) State Park entrance fee, and the $4 (per kayak) Kayak Launch fee. All fees can be made on site at the podium near the kayak launch.
Restrictions: Children of all ages are welcome to join our Silver Springs tours at the parent/legal guardian’s discretion. Children under 70 pounds must have their own life jacket and be worn for the duration of the tour.
PLEASE NOTE - EACH CHILD (under 18) MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.

Weight Limit
The weight limit is 425 pounds per boat and no more than 250 pounds per seat. Each of our kayaks are doubles (tandem).

- Our Silver Springs tour departs from Silver Springs, FL sharing a parking lot with Silver Springs State Park.
- Alcohol is not permitted.
- Plastic is not permitted on the waterway of Silver Springs. Please bring your own water in a reusable container.

Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before your tour starts due to potential long lines at the park entrance for admission fee payments. We kindly request that you adjust your schedule accordingly.

The Silver Springs State Park parking lot is accessible via State Road 40, just east of Ocala. After driving through the main gate of the state park, proceed on NE 29th Street to the back of the parking lot where you'll find the Silver Springs Canoe and Kayak Launch. Do not use the main Silver Springs State Park entrance; the kayak launch is further down the parking lot. You may park in any available space. Look for your tour guide wearing a Get Up and Go Kayaking shirt at the entrance.

Upon arrival, first check-in with your tour guide before paying any park admission fees. Check-in should be done 30 minutes before your tour start time to ensure you have enough time to pay the fees. All guests must check in with the tour guide and pay admission fees before the tour begins. Guests who do not check in by the tour start time will not be able to participate, and will be marked as a no-show.

Admission fees - Guests are responsible for the Silver Springs State Park admission fee of ($2 per person) and the Kayak Launch fee of ($4 per kayak). Note that the $4 Kayak Launch fee is per kayak, not per person. For a tandem (2-seated) kayak, the $4 fee applies per group of two guests. All fee payments are made on site at the Canoe and Kayak launch entrance.

Also, a friendly reminder: our guides work on the generosity from tips. We recommend tipping in cash! We like to say, "If you enjoyed your ride, tip your guide!"
The paddle will last 1.5 hours and we are more than willing to stop wherever you guys would like to take some pictures. Our guides can even take some for you. You'll love the clear kayaks with the incredible spring water! There's plenty of wildlife and amazing plant-life to be seen right under your kayak!
We suggest bringing a hat, some water, and lots of smiles! Small dry bags will be provided to guests for items such as keys, wallet, phone, etc.
WHAT TO BRING
Silver Springs State Park main entrance is just a short walk away from where we launch. We highly suggest checking out the State Park during your visit to Silver Springs! Therefore, we suggest bringing a hat, water (in a non-disposable bottle), a change of clothes, water shoes if you prefer (tennis shoes and boots are not permitted in the kayak), many of our guests opt for barefoot when entering the kayaks, and lastly a towel. Other useful items are sunglasses, dry (non-oil based) sunscreen, and any beverages (NON-ALCOHOLIC) in a non-disposable container. Small dry bags will be provided to guests for items such as keys, wallet, phone, etc.
WHAT NOT TO BRING
- Disposable Containers (Cans, plastic, glass, plastic foam or paper)
- Any Alcoholic Beverages
- Oil-Based Liquids (Sunscreen, Lotion, etc.)
- Regular tennis shoes are not allowed to be worn in the kayaks to keep them clean!

Cancellation Policy
Trips that are canceled by Get Up And Go Kayaking due to inclement weather, will not be charged; if your card has been charged prior to the trip, all funds will be refunded.
All sales are final; however, we do offer Trip Protection at Silver Springs for 10% of the ticket price to allow you to cancel for a full refund for any reason up until 24-hours prior to the trip time.
No-show participants will not be refunded. This includes showing up with less paddlers than the original amount booked for.
Get Up And Go Kayaking will not launch in unsafe weather conditions. Because of this, trips may need to be cancelled or rescheduled due to safety issues. If this is the case, your reservation will be refunded in full (if it has already been paid). We will not be held responsible for any reservation that you fail to keep due to any unforeseen circumstances. We also reserve the right to change or cancel any tours due to circumstances beyond our control. In this instance, Get Up And Go Kayaking can refund the tour price, not any other expenses that may have been incurred.
Cancellations must be done by phone. We accept email cancellations as long as they are at least 4 days prior to the scheduled tour. You will receive a reply once your trip has been canceled.
