Description: Our vessels are now licensed for beer and wine sales on board and our shop is licensed for beer sales. Therefore, guests are no longer allowed to bring their own alcoholic beverages on the trips. We do have beer for sale everyday in store and beer and wine on the vessels for sale to individuals 21 years of age and older in accordance with the California Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations.
Pregnant women are not allowed on these trips

What to Bring:
We always recommend warm layers. You can always take a layer off if you are too warm, but you can’t put on a layer you didn’t bring. Long pants and close toed shoes are highly recommended. It is also a good idea to bring a water proof layer; not only does it keep you dry, it also protects you from the wind. Hats or sun protection even on overcast days is recommended.
What should I bring with me on the boat?
In addition to the recommended clothing and sun protection, you may want bring a camera, towels, water and snacks. (up to a small cooler is permitted)

An email will be sent 72 hours prior to your trip
- US Coast Guard requires all passengers to complete the waiver in case of emergency
- Adults will complete waivers for minors.
- You can forward the waiver link via email or text to the unlisted guests in your group
SPORTFISHING LICENSE REQUIRED
- EVERYONE over the age of 16 is required to have a valid CaDFW Sportfishing License
We are authorized to sell Day or 365 Fishing licenses
- Bring photo ID (if minor 16+ DOB & Last Name only needed)

Failure to have it printed or on the app will delay the check-in process and will require a fee for reprint
Trips end when catch limits for the advertised target species are reached, or when the scheduled trip time is up, whichever comes first.

- Parking is $2/Hour or $12/All Day
- RV parking is available
- Allow extra time on the meter incase trip exceeds duration time
- Pay attention to street parking signs as they are only a 2 hour time limit, which is not sufficient enough for any of our trips.
Failure to pay before leaving your vehicle may result in a $49+ parking ticket

Please note that Fisherman’s Wharf is a pedestrian-only area.
Here’s how to find our building on foot:
1. Look for the pink building, called Harbor House—this is a good indication you're heading in the right direction
2. Continue walking down the wharf until you reach the yellow building, called Crab House, it has a giant clock on the side of its building
3. Once at The Crab House, turn right
4. We are the blue building on your right-hand side, called Discovery Whale Watch/JM Sportfishing
What to Wear
- Warm layers – You can adjust your layers if you become too warm, but it’s important to bring everything you might need, as additional layers cannot be provided during your trip.

- Waterproof layer – Keeps you dry and protects against the wind
- Sunglasses, sun screen, hats and other sun protection - even on overcast days!

- Motion Sickness Remedies - Consider taking preventives if prone to motion sickness
- Food and non-alcoholic beverages are acceptable to bring onboard
- Cash for onboard purchases and gratuities, and fish cleaning services
- Equipment and Licensing are available for an additional fee
Alcoholic Beverage Policy
- We offer beer for sale daily in our shop, and both beer and wine are available for purchase on board our vessels.
- Guests are not permitted to bring their own alcoholic beverages on our trips.
Sales are restricted to individuals 21 years of age and older, in accordance with California Alcohol and Beverage Control regulations.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
To receive a full refund, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Please contact us 831-372-7440 or email info@jmsportfishing.com.
If you do not cancel/reschedule your trip outside of the 48 hour window you ARE NOT entitled to a refund even if you reschedule for a date that gets cancelled due to the reasons listed below. We will charge the card in full if there is an unpaid balance.

- If you do not cancel or reschedule your trip outside the 48-hour window, you will not be entitled to a refund, even if you reschedule to a date that gets cancelled.
- Groups of 5 or more will incur a 15% rebooking fee.

We reserve the right to cancel a trip at any time for reasons including safety concerns, inclement weather, or undersubscription. If we need to cancel, we will notify you as soon as possible using the contact information provided during booking.

Please note, weather conditions can change rapidly, and we may need to make a last-minute decision on cancellations. Our goal is to ensure safe, manageable conditions for every trip, even if it means making a decision close to departure time.

We typically require at least 8 passengers for a trip to depart. If there aren’t enough reservations, we will either reschedule or refund your booking, allowing you to choose a new date. We will do everything we can to recruit enough passengers, but cancellations may still occur close to departure if we don’t meet the minimum.
