Itinerary
Embark on an extraordinary journey through the three millennia of Rome's enthralling history. Begin your adventure with a private guide at the Vatican, skipping the long lines with priority entrance into the Vatican Museums. Explore a stunning collection of art, from ancient Greek and Roman sculptures to Renaissance masterpieces. Marvel at the Raphael Rooms and the breathtaking Sistine Chapel ceiling, as your guide dispels myths and reveals the truths about Michelangelo’s masterpiece.
After a brief visit to St. Peter’s Basilica, enjoy a leisurely lunch break. Then, regroup for an exclusive Colosseum experience. Enter the arena through the legendary Gladiator's Gate. Step onto the Arena floor where gladiators once fought, while your guide fascinates you with tales of the epic games that took place here, separating fact from fiction.
Continue to the Roman Forum, heart of the ancient "Caput Mundi" and learn about the extraordinary rise and fall of the Roman Empire.
Next, visit the Trevi Fountain, immortalized in Fellini’s “La Dolce Vita.” Be sure to toss three coins into its sparkling waters before heading to the Pantheon, the 2,000 year-old temple built to honor the Pagan gods, and marvel at the architectural perfection of its dome.
Your tour concludes at Piazza Navona, Rome’s most beautiful Renaissance square. Stroll through this vibrant area, admire Bernini’s stunning Baroque fountains, and enjoy a refreshing aperitivo or dinner at a local trattoria.
