Our all-inclusive tour by high-speed train will have you traveling with the utmost comfort, quality, and convenience. We'll reach Naples in one hour, and from there — in just 35 minutes by private coach — we arrive at the ancient ruins of Pompeii where your expert local guide will amaze you during a walking tour of this city devastated by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in AD 79.
Experience a world frozen in time as you stroll along the cobblestone ancient roads where perfectly conserved ancient bakeries, shops, stalls, residences, public baths, and even brothels remain! Take in the tragic plaster casts of the Pompeiians who were immortalized on that devastating day by pyroclastic flow and ash.

Your tour is booked. Excited? You’re about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime. As you prepare for your tour, please keep in mind the following:
⏰ Be sure to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time. Tours depart promptly at the scheduled time, while public transport throughout Italy can be unreliable. No refunds will be given for failure to arrive at the meeting point on time.
🚉 Your train is scheduled to arrive in Napoli Centrale at 10:28. When you get off the train, walk to the end of the platform turn left and continue until you come to this decorative water fountain where your local guide will be holding an ItaliaTours sign. Once seated in our air conditioned coach the group will depart for Pompei.
🛂 We recommend bringing at least a copy of your passport while touring in case of emergency, especially for children under 18 years old.
🚻 As your coach is scheduled to leave the Naples station promptly at 10:40, please be sure to use the restroom on the train to avoid waiting in long lines inside the station which can cause significant delays. Once the train arrives in Naples, please go directly to the meeting point.
ℹ️ In the event of significant delays (1+ hrs) on the Rome to Naples rail segment, we will consider postponing the return journey if necessary in order to cover the entire itinerary, and reversing the order of tour and lunch. Kindly note this very remote possibility when making evening plans in Rome.

Cancellation Policy
Tours depart rain or shine unless otherwise specified. All cancellations must be received in writing to info@italiatours.com. The cancellation policy for this item is as follows:
- Cancellation with 72+ hours notice: full refund
- Cancellation with less than 72 hours notice: no refunds or exceptions will be made
- Failure to reach the meeting point on time (no-show) is equivalent to cancellation with less than 72 hours notice.
If you've chose the Hassle-Free Cancellation policy during checkout, cancel your tour anytime up to midnight of the day before it begins for a full refund, excluding the Trip Protection fee. Remember to notify us of your cancellation in writing before midnight (Rome time) on the night before your tour.
