SANDCASTLE LESSONS
Description: A 2-hour award winning SandCastle Lesson serviced by a BSS Mobile Unit. Service Area include beaches of Destin, Miramar Beach, Okaloosa Island, Fort Walton Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, 30A, South Walton, Inlet Beach, and Panama City Beach (when available), Florida.

Payment: All SandCastle Lessons shall be paid in full at the time of booking. At the time of booking, Beach Sand Sculptures (BSS) shall reserve the date and time of booked SandCastle Lesson, and not make any other reservations or accept any other clients for said date and time for designed Mobile Unit. Discounts/Gift Cards/Gift Donations/Promo Codes must be used at the time of booking online, one code use per booking.

Weather and Demo Complete: ON THE DAY OF YOUR SANDCASTLE LESSON – If the weather is questionable, plan to attend your SandCastle Lesson as scheduled. Your SandCastle Coach will make a decision regarding weather just before or during your SandCastle Lesson. A SandCastle Lesson is deemed complete when the “demonstration portion” has been provided. The “demonstration portion” of a SandCastle Lesson is defined as the initial pound-up, carve of the demonstration tower, and concludes with the "Red" Shovel Staircase = Demo Complete.

Whole Day Weather Cancellations Beach Sand Sculptures Client Care Team will contact you via email/text before 9:00 a.m. the day of your scheduled SandCastle Lesson when there is a Whole Day Weather Cancellation. Our goal is to provide your scheduled SandCastle Lesson, as many times it is difficult to re-schedule. Your SandCastle Coach (at the time of your SandCastle Lesson) may place your Lesson on a Weather Delay for up to 30 min in an attempt to allow inclement weather to pass. If your SandCastle Lesson is cancelled by your SandCastle Coach due to inclement weather, we, a) attempt to reschedule, OR b) 100% refund per policy.

Double (2) Red Beach Safety Flags: Beach Sand Sculptures is unable to offer SandCastle Lessons when the Double Red Flags are displayed – these flags indicate the water is closed to the public. A Double Red Flags may occur on a beautiful sunny day. Our goal is to provide your scheduled SandCastle Lesson, as many times it is difficult to re-schedule. During Double Red Flag you will either 1. Agree to meet at an Optional Location where water can be obtained by other sources besides the Gulf of America, 2. Re-Schedule (with no Re-Booking Fee), OR 3. Receive 100% refund per policy.

Booking Party Size: Children 4 years of age and younger are free with a participating adult. Beach Sand Sculptures encourage everyone in a group/family to participate in the SandCastle Lesson – they are truly a family/group experience. We specialize in a whole family experience. We require at least 1 actively participating adult and/or 1 actively participating adult per 5 children. If the required number of adults per children participating increases the group size the booking credit card charge will reflect the cost for the increased group size. A group/family may choose not to have everyone in their group/family participate, in this case only those people designate as participants will be allowed to participate (i.e. work on the sand pile, ask questions, carve sand, etc.). If through the course of a SandCastle Lesson, additional people participate in any way (beyond the group size booked) the booking credit card charge will reflect the cost for the appropriate group size.
An adult = 18 years of age.

Cancellation/Change Order: Client is required to notify BSS, in writing (Info@BeachSandSculptures.com), 48 hours in advance of booked SandCastle Lesson to receive a refund. Failure to provide adequate advance notice (48 hours) in writing will result in full charge for services per policy.

Re-Booking Fee $150.00: Booking changes, such as date, SandCastle Lesson address change, service area, etc. inside 48 hours, will be charged to booking credit card = $150.00. Subject to availability. Changes which result in non-service may cause a client's to forfeit their booking fee. SandCastle Lessons incorrectly booked, and then communicated to BSS within 24 hours of booking will not be assessed a Re-Booking Fee.

Incorrect Booking Information: Beach Sand Sculptures, nor their agencies, nor third parties, shall not be held responsible for incorrect booking information. Incorrect booking information may cause subjection to Re-Booking Fee (above). Booking Confirmation emails are sent out immediately upon booking. Read through all correspondence when received to confirm booking information. If you do not receive a Confirmation Email shortly after booking please check your Spam Folder. Contact BSS at Info@BeachSandSculptures.com or 850-739-0550 to change your contact information or receive your Confirmation Email. Not receiving a Confirmation Email is not grounds for dismissal of any Beach Sand Sculptures Company Policies.

Late or No Show: Failure to provide adequate advance notice (48 hours) in writing (Info@BeachSandSculptures.com) will result in full charge for services scheduled (see also Cancellation/Change Order Policy). SandCastle Lessons will not commence a SandCastle Lesson after 30 mins of scheduled start time. A late Client (after 30 mins) may Re-schedule per availability (see Re-Booking Fee $150.00).

Refund: There are NO REFUNDS provided with a cancellation of fewer than 48-hour notice of scheduled service. Service which incurs weather related cancellation (determined by the SandCastle Coaches) will be a) attempted to re-book OR b) receive a refund per policy. The decision to cancel your SandCastle Lesson, due to inclement weather, will be determined by your SandCastle Coach at any time before or during a SandCastle Lesson (see also Weather and Demo Complete).

Travel: NW Florida: Current areas covered by our Mobile Unit SandCastle Lessons are Fort Walton Beach through Destin, including the coastal communities along Scenic Hwy 30A in South Walton (county), and extending into Panama City Beach, Florida.

Locations we are UNABLE to service:

Destin: Guests of Emerald Grande, 10 Harbor Blvd, Destin, FL 32541, are required to meet their SandCastle Coach at an alternate beach than Norriego Point (The Emerald Grande Beach). We suggest Boshamps Seafood and Oyster House, 414 Harbor Blvd, Destin, FL 32541 (within walking distance on The Destin Harbor).

The Preserve (at Grayton) – Addresses on: Morgans Trail, Bartons Way W, Bentley Lane, Coleman Drive in Santa Rosa Beach 32459 – might also be written as Blue Mountain Beach, Fl 32459 or Grayton Beach, Fl 32459. Guest required to meet SandCastle Coach at a nearby Public Beach Access.

Watercolor and Seaside guests - meet your SandCastle Coach on the west of the west property line of Watercolor and Grayton Beach State Park - https://maps.app.goo.gl/gn3xEYm5nJboXpJ89. Watercolor guest use the western most Watercolor boardwalk which places you on the beach just steps away from this location.

Watersound We can offer SandCastle Lesson at all Watersound beaches with the exception of the exclusive Watersound Beach Club beach. Repeat: No SandCastle Lessons at Watersound Beach Club.

Topsail Hill State Park - due to the need to ride the tram to and from the beach meet your SandCastle Coach at Dune Allen/Fort Panic Regional Beach Access -
